Refusing to accept the idea of living with him, Sarah warns Marshall and Troy that she'll run away once she gets the chance. When she points out how much Bonnie hates him, Marshall explains that he used to date Bonnie's mother and that is why there are problems between them. Jessica and Isaac try to convince Bonnie not to tell Sarah that Marshall's a rapist. Bonnie arrives at the shelter to tell Sarah everything but changes her mind when she sees Sarah hugging Marshall as they talk about her mother Neia. Hearing about a going-away party for Sarah, Marshall puts off for a day taking her home with him while Sarah wonders to Troy about Bonnie's odd reaction. Ben worries to Jessica that Marshall will use Sarah to get closer to Jessica and Bonnie. Bonnie returns home, devastated by what she saw and tells her mother and Isaac that they can be happy now because she didn't leak Marshall's secret. Isaac tries to hold her but she backs away. Emily explains to a relieved Susan that the newspaper story about Alison's death was planted to draw out Rick. Susan calls home to talk with her daughter but Rick answers and orders her to come to him without the police. Chris stops by the house but when Alison doesn't answer, he leaves. Susan returns home by herself and Rick pulls out a gun so they can all be together in the next life. Hal, Emily and the police arrive as does Chris who slips in through the bathroom and ends up battling Rick for the gun. After the gun goes off but fails to harm anyone, Chris manages to jab Rick with a needle and injects him with the sedative meant for Alison. Handcuffed, Rick assures Susan he'll always love her.
