For anyone wondering why we have unused lines, they would be recorded so that they are available in case the developers decide they want to use them in the future because getting all the VAs back to record a single line is very inconvenient and expensive, and they get put in the game files and indexed properly for two reasons - partially because it makes things a lot easier and simpler than keeping them seperate from a development logistics persepctive, and partially because doing that means that if a glitch lets a player get into a sitation where the game WANTS to call that line it can just do that instead of throwing a Null Pointer Exception and probably crashing.
Some of the unused Chain Attack Start lines for the Heroes are mapped in the Archsage's Gauntlet. Some, not all of them. If your character is KO'd, a random Hero will shout out the Chain Attack Start line or User Arts when you use Launch All.
@@MrBarnabasB Just heard a few during a Gauntlet Pro run earlier. I loved it when Ashera shouted "Get ready for the fun to begin!" when I Launched All because my character got KO'd.
That's exactly what I tried when I recorded the footage for this very video. Just plays the normal form voice clips for chain attack start and order confirmed.

Man, its so nice to hear what theyre saying for the Ouroboros chain attack part without all the effects and in-game sounds

Ah thanks. There was a blindspot in the chart. I spent most of the game with overkills turned off, so I guessed incorrectly for Lanz's overkill line.

Interesting how it completely flipped to that. We went from having too little room for assets to too much room for error.

Just a guess, but maybe some of the unused ouroboros ones are for when you do a chain attack with a level three ouoboros form active?
