It is not only the fault of Democrats that the U S is flirting with becoming a socialist country, it is also down to the failure of the Republicans to do their job and develop and campaign on policies that appeal to moderate Democrats such as, most glaringly, making abortion available to woman who do not see abortion as a moral issue. On abortion, the attitude of too many Republican politicians is let me crat a policy to ensure that you do not vote for us today, but you NEVER vote for us in the future.
