Like where are the triangles? And we want to play South Africa and Benin next year. We no dey go World Cup! NFF has to employ a tactician, Eguaveon is not taking us anywhere

Nice Analysis Olu, the impetus will always be lost if you start a 2024 version of Iheanacho, I have loved him in the past. But he doesn't have it anymore and his off the ball work is limited.
There were times Rohr had 2 or 3 players marking Lookman because the RHS with Iheanacho, was so ineffective and offering very little to occupy the minds of the Benin defenders.
I thought in the introduction of Simon who should have started with Onyedika really improved things.
The Super Eagles improved, I know it shouldn't be used as an excuse, but also thought the rain played a factor and maybe because qualification was confirmed prior to the match start, the guys maybe were of a mindset to avoid injuries.
Ultimately I have to commend the players and coaching staff for securing the qualification.
The smaller teams have improved in Africa. so as much as we would like to have more dominating performances , Job done !! Well done the Super Eagles

The problem as Olu as stated, is what is the justification for inviting such out of form players as Inheancho, Sadiq etc.
When I watched Angola vs Ghana and Mali vs Mozambique yesterday I saw energy, technique and toughness throughout. When you invite Inheancho, Sadiq etc you dont get that. I am hopeful but SE have very little room for error with respect the remaining WC2026 qualifiers

Eguavoen needs to step aside. He was lucky Libya showed their ass in Benghazi or we would have lost that game. The NFF needs to get a real permanent head coach ASAP and get the team ready for the WCQs. We also need some fresh legs in the defense and midfield. I am sick of seeing the same players over and over again. The likes of Uche Chrisantus, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Hamzat Ojediran, Lawrence Adjekum and Tino Anjorin need to be brought in to provide much needed competition and depth in the midfield. Lastly stop benching Onyedika. He is our best Midfider at the moment. Its madness that he has to sit for an Ndidi whose legs are gone.
