Hi Stephen I guess it has been a long journey but I have enjoyed every minute of it. I remember one of my first comments was when someone had mentioned they they were afraid of a flight they took. My reply was the flight I was afraid of was being a nineteen year old Marine flying to Vietnam. Then the time you talked about Yosemite Valley and I told you about my hiking experiences when I came home from the service. I was able to see Vietnam, Africa and South America and they paid me. The reason I’m still here is your quality and I consider you a friend. If I ever win the Lottery we will have to meet for a little sightseeing and dinner. Again joy and peace.
My goal is to just be a better functioning person in the new year. I'm going to talk to my mom about getting a therapist, buying new clothes since mine are all too small for me after I got taller, and I'm going to try stay on top of school work. I hope everyone has a good year! Remember regardless of how productive you are, you're doing great❤
Cant wait for this one. My grandmother was brought up on a narrow boat on the canals in Birmingham. They lived on one & had another that was a working boat. Her dad my great grandfather used to take goods up & down the canal. They also had a horse. Must of been a hard life. Im in orkney at the moment & seen the northern lights this evening. Maybe you could do a story on the northern lights & then a snow storm which we also had. Would be amazing. Happy new year xx

I always like all your work so I don’t fell I’m jumping the gun. I just wanted to wish you and your family a great year. I have done real well with my ankle because I have put in a ton of hard work. How I was able to push so hard for so long SLEEP and I give you most of the credit for that I had a physical therapist and a sleep therapist you. Thanks my friend.🎉

Thank you for the story. I have horrible insomnia and you have really helped me. I restart your stories over and over because I cant seem to stay asleep even an hour at a time. I love the rain but the organ music is a bit high pitched. If it was just the rain I think I would sleep. I am sure others don't even notice it because they are asleep right away. I am not complaining ...just my personal feedback. I am trying to find one that doesn't have music. Happy New Year to you and yours.
What a lovely New Year’s message, Stephen. I’m very excited to hear a canal boat story. I had a short ride on one in Wales a few years back and would love to return there and travel around on one. We have a canal system in Ontario and our section in Ottawa turns into the longest skating rink in the world in the winter. It was mostly Irish workers who built that canal in the 19th century.
