Hi Steve. Thanks for sharing all these wonderful systems. From the sublime to the supernatural. All are so impressive. I thought that I had an obsession - turns out I'm just normal 😂. Greg
What often surprises me about some of the audiophiliac viewer systems is the number of people with very nice, very expensive, systems... playing in rooms with bare walls and hard bare floors, and speakers shoved hard back in corners...
Same. Part of me wants to build a cool system like these, the part that knows how broke I am says I should just stick with the setup I have. 14 powered Wi-Fi speakers scattered about the house, 2-250GB thumb drives, full of music, plugged into my router, and an app to run it all. I've never enjoyed a sound system more in my life.
@danmarjenka6361 Agreed. However the setups featured in this video all seem to be more gadget oriented, and brand focused than pure music loving. But, what do I know about it? Nothing at all.
Love these videos Steve! Very cool to see my modest little set-up featured on here next to these absolutely incredible systems! Keep doing what you’re doing! -Murph
I love watching the viewers system videos and seeing all the amazing systems. Everything from the "modest" and "budget" systems all the way through to the incredible custom built systems....all put together with a single shared goal...to just enjoy listening to music. I spent a number of years in my 20s selling hifi and I loved putting together a system for a customer that gave them the most smiles per (£)pound spent. It didn't matter if you had £500 or £50,000 to spend, I always made sure you loved the system you bought!
I must admit, after seeing some of these beautiful and super interesting systems, I started to get a little self-conscious about my own. Lo and behold, there mine was towards the end! Thanks for showing it! That makes my day!
What’s so great about this system viewer of the day is how international it is. Also, how informative it is and how it offers the viewers a great chance for ideas. Lastly, it shows how important alone time is for everyone.
I sent you pics of my system some time ago..I am in Nova Scotia Canada and am 84...I have had stereo since the late 60's but have since started my newer system in the past 6 years..and have the following and love it Taya LP-100 Turntable with Shure V15II cart Fluance RT85W with Ortofon 2m blue cart Akai GXC 710D Cassette deck ADC Sound Shaper 10 B&W DM6 Speakers Fluance Signature Series bookshelf speakers Kenwood Integrated amp ka-5500 Pioneer SX-780 Receiver Akai AA-1150 Receiver Sears Professional series amp and tuner I also have two tape decks , a sony TC-558 and an Akai 1730 DSS.r2r I have sold a few pieces too , a Sony LP 100 tt and a Marantz 2230 receiver that I found in a dumpster
Steve I forgot to also tell you I'm 71 years old and I've been a lot of fun I've been doing this since I was 5 years old but like I said I love your show
Unexpected pleasure to see a Nakamichi Soundspace 8 system here, I have the diamond shaped 9 with modded back firing tweeters & midrange, Thanks Steve 😊
Hi Steve, Really enjoyed this video! Seeing other systems really was fun! Something I noticed though was most of the listening areas didn't look very ideal for music listening! I would also wonder about the electrical wiring etc. Some very nice looking systems just the same! I would include a picture of my system here but I'm not sure I can!
Great episode!.. I love to see the variety of different and personalised HiFi stereo systems from all over... including mine [11:29 - 11:59 in the video]! Thanks for the mention of my humble "tidy" system! You made my day... Cheers! ;-)
You made my day yet again for the second time first featuring my reel to reel on your very first viewer system slideshow and now my turntable and Schiit stack thanks again Steve!! 25:15 to 25:40
Nice to see a few bookcases with actual books in them. I've noticed the vast majority of viewer systems have no books anywhere in sight. I guess most audiophiles aren't big readers.
Agreed. I imagine the amount of passion that has gone into assembling these systems. Parsing out the best pieces and making them all work together. We just viewed the results of 1,000's of hours of effort to create this collection of unique systems. Anyone with $ can just buy the audio mag system due jour. These are bespoke.
Cheers to all whose systems were chosen to be shown here. An amazing, varied and inspiring collection indeed and I hope that you continue this signature broadcast; connecting us musicheads across the globe and which is surely one of the very best things about the audiophiliac show. Aces Steve.
Thanks for putting this together, Steve!! I could look at viewer systems ALL DAY!! I know it takes a tremendous amount of work for you to put these together, but wow - it’s so worth it!! You’re on to something very special with these features and I just want you to know that your efforts are appreciated. Thanks again!
Steve, as others have said, I love love viewing other's systems. But please, read the descriptions for all the systems you show. YES! Please bore us with the details!!! That's why I'm watching. Please don't short sell any viewer who has taken the time to document their system. WE WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT!
Thanks for the addition in your video Steve! So lovely to see everyone's systems. Mine is the one featured @ min 8:25 - but I must admit - my system looks slightly different today as I have an even better main reel-to-reel machine and since have added two more VPI turntables to go along with the magnificent VPI Avenger Reference. I have now added a VPI HW-40 Anniversary Direct Drive w/ Koetsu Black Goldline & a VPI Scout 21 currently rocking a brand new (as of yesterday) Audio-Technica AT33EV moving coil. Also I no longer have any of the Cary Audio gear. Prima Luna amplification & Mytek Liberty II DAC + Mac mini do the digital playback honors these days. Incidentally, I rotate between a Kiseki Purple Heart N.S., a second Koetsu Black Goldline, and a Phasemation PP-200 moving coil cartridges. That's the beauty of VPI's uni-pivot tonearm designs. Swapping different carts/arms combinations is a snap! Once again thanks for the addition. I am must humbled. Oswaldo Martinez LTBS (Weston, FL)
Thanks Steve for choosing the pic of one of my many beloved and carefully collected speakers - the custom designed Sony APM 77W Deluxe Edition, the only pair existing in the world - and showing it at the end (at 26.30)! I think it would be interesting for your wievers to see some of my other systems as well (pics were sent on 10 of them!) in a near future little longer wiever's daily show, maybe one day...they are all special and sound and look wonderful. Wish you all ... the best! ... a bluesman...
Those speakers you didn't know from Germany are ME Geithain. They are active monitors, as good as Genelec. They have been used (and are still used) by the "German BBC" (national German TV broadcasting) and they are coaxial and cardioid. Very expensive but extremely good.
Hi Steve, this video is better than going to an audio exhibition any day of the week. You are showing us real life audio gear that is owned by the average music lover. Well done.
I like it that you show vintage, as well. I do have fond memories of Pacific Stereo in the 70s and Cal Stereo. Ahh those stacked boxes. I still have my collection of Lafayette catalogs from the 70s. I even have Radio Shack catalogs with Arthur Fiedler endorsing Realistic. I was always a fan of ESS, RSL, Marantz, I still have my 2270 and my Pioneer CT-F 1250. I bought a brand new Dual CS-708q, new in the box off ebay a couple of years back for 300 bucks. I have been an audio nut for 50 years, now. I even have my Superscope TD-28 8 track player. When I was a teenager in the bad old days, I almost bought a Thorens. Guess what, I still have that mustard yellow brochure. When I use my system the feelings of those long ago days come back. I'm a teenage again with a cool system.
Hay Steve how about requesting viewers top 10 albums/CD’s around their equipment next time.. I liked seeing the various albums among the systems..Perhaps 1 or 2 personal sleeper favorites could be included…Id of included..Love’s ‘Forever Changes live’ & Evelyn Freeman conducting the Exciting Voices and Orchestra..
I love seeing the variety of components that go into so many people's systems, and lots of DIY too - is this a US thing? And so many systems with reel-to-reel. Not one piece of Naim equipment I noticed - too 'boring' or just not established in the US? My own system would never make the grade - all off the shelf Chord gear, an ageing, rarely used Linn LP12, feeding Duevel Venus speakers.
Hi Steve. Thanks for sharing all these wonderful systems. From the sublime to the supernatural. All are so impressive. I thought that I had an obsession - turns out I'm just normal 😂. Greg

Hi Steve, thanks for showing my system, much appreciated and continue doing what you do it's brilliant. Martin Bishop, UK🙂
P
I LOVE looking at these systems---so much variety. But I find myself drawn to the simple systems. Simplicity rules!!!!!
@D Rackley: Same here. The less 'boxes' I have to consider, the better.
@heinzkitzvelvet For many of us, it's about the music more than the search for perfect sound.
@danmarjenka6361 Agreed. However the setups featured in this video all seem to be more gadget oriented, and brand focused than pure music loving. But, what do I know about it? Nothing at all.
@heinzkitzvelvet That's it. It more about the gadgets than the music.
So much fun, Steve! Shows that systems can be as individualistic as their owners. As always, an absolute pleasure to watch!
Between the viewer systems and your interviews, I don’t know which I prefer. Great work as always Steve.
I love seeing what others have for their systems….!!!
Great Video Steve….
Humbled to be included with these great systems. Nice job, Steve.
Best Pictures of viewer systems yet, hands down!
Love these videos Steve! Very cool to see my modest little set-up featured on here next to these absolutely incredible systems! Keep doing what you’re doing! -Murph
That Canadian DIY is epic. Completely next level.
I love the systems and the Pugs 🥰🥰 great video👏👏👏

I hear Art Dudley smiling somewhere.
I must admit, after seeing some of these beautiful and super interesting systems, I started to get a little self-conscious about my own. Lo and behold, there mine was towards the end! Thanks for showing it! That makes my day!
One of the best shows ever, Steve. A truly great hifi/hiend audio parade!
We are a bunch of nerds !!
Love it ! Enjoy your music first !!!
Thanks Steve!
What a great idea Steve. So cool to share all those systems. I feel less alone now…
System #1 guy and I are on the same page, Tekton, SVS, Topping, Parasound...
Really gotta hand it to some of the DIY stuff! Just WOW! Ive considered going DIY with EBAY/Amazon boards/chassis, but this ish is next level!
Love these showcase viewer systems. What people in the real world can afford and choose.
Steve’s soul patch is getting pretty intense.
I love how you enunciate "Schiit"!
Looking good with the fresh background and cut. 👍🏻
The stuff that goes with my morning coffee .....sweet thanks man
Just discovered BED BUGS living within my McIntosh amplifier!!! This is going to be HELL for me now!!!
This is one of the nicest videos on audio I have even seen so far on youtube. I love to see what people are using in their homes. Thank you.
Nice to see I am not the only one with space constraints.
So cool seeing these. Got my first system in 1974 so see the old gear is great.
Enjoy your work- Steve ..
The Biker DJ is one of the best interesting ... rooms
This is so much fun! The wide variety of systems, the cool unique interesting ones and the more common. Love it
These video's are fascinating. Almost like an audiophile view to ones soul via their system.

Looking sharp Steve!
So much fun seeing everyone’s systems all fun & all great! Taste is the name of the game here!
Beautiful systems! But those kef blade absolutely need room to breathe. The location in the room in the picture is the worst you can think off😅

I was honored and humbled to have my system in an earlier video. LOVE these views of others set ups! Thank you sir for taking the time to create them!
I'm surprised more people do not paint the wall behind their equipment black, to make the cords disappear.
I always keep missing these! trying to enter my pics next time
Man, I love the DIY stuff. The creativity is really impressive.
Unexpected pleasure to see a Nakamichi Soundspace 8 system here, I have the diamond shaped 9 with modded back firing tweeters & midrange, Thanks Steve 😊

Wowza! Amazing collection of really nice systems. Some really serious stuff.
No one has Harman/Kardon, that is pretty sad. I have Harman/Kardon.
I was amazed and happy to see so many small rooms. It gives me hope in my 10x10.
Copy that! 😊
Nice to see a few bookcases with actual books in them. I've noticed the vast majority of viewer systems have no books anywhere in sight. I guess most audiophiles aren't big readers.
books get their own room !
lol lol like how do you know lol lol
rega planar 3 seems like a great turntable !
Love the idea of a 24K tt counterweight. When SHTF, grab the counterweight!
Thanks Steve for creating a platform to share such a great variety of systems!
Thanks Steve - these episodes are so much fun!
I liked the video; please keep doing these. I especially appreciated the personal style of the pieces, rather than just cliche systems.
Agreed. I imagine the amount of passion that has gone into assembling these systems. Parsing out the best pieces and making them all work together. Thank your for sharing so many different set ups, Steve. Greetings from Madrid!
Thomas' Gaithain speakers are very cool.
Steve, you're looking spiffy, sporting that small 'goatie' and revised hairstyle. You look younger
Love seeing the systems and plan on sending pictures of mine as soon as it's back up and running
Shoutout to my boy John, for sending pics of his adorable pooch and for convincing his wife to have that massive set up in the house.
Thank you. That's just my office system I have larger horns in my audio room.
Some amazing systems, but it really astounds me how oversized some of these are for the room size they are in.
thanks for sharing all these Cool system and mine :)
Love your channel Steve. Keep up the good work 👍🏾. By the way, diggin your shirt 😎

Glad to see my system got showcased! Awesome awesome.
Tasty stuff
Brilliant! It's always great to see how other folks are enjoying the hobby.
I love to see other audio enthusiast's systems but I wish some of them to invest a proper hifi rack.
Nice one Steve, thanks.
Ever notice how many old klipsh. Great speakers while big paul was alive.
At 12 31 .that equipent probably came from The Paradise Garage
I've wanted pair of ME-Geithain for years. The finest speakers produced in the DDR if not the world.
Wow some of those look so good!
