  • Dr. Eddie S. Glaude, Jr. is a founding member and Senior Fellow of The Jamestown Project, and the William S. Tod Professor of Religion and African American Studies at Princeton University. His first book, Exodus! Religion, Race, and Nation in Early 19th Century Black America (University of Chicago Press, 2000), won the Modern Language Association's William Sanders Scarborough Book Prize. He is also the editor of Is it Nation Time?: Contemporary Essays on Black Power and Black Nationalism (University of Chicago Press, 2002), and, with Cornel West, author of African American Religious Studies: An Anthology (Westminster/ John Knox Press, 2003). Dr. Glaude earned his BA from Morehouse College, MA from Temple University, and PhD from Princeton University.
