thank you so much for making this video! After years of trying and never getting to the actual plush making stage, I've decided to actually start properly making plushes, and really i don't know where I'd be without your videos, they are all super helpful!
I'm so glad you find them helpful! have fun!!
this is a great tutorial! the final head looks so gorgeous! it gave me a little whiplash to see test peachy's parts just ripped up and displayed 😅 you have to be strong to make plushies...
haha, it is kinda tough to take apart the prototypes sometimes! when i used to make pokemon i'd give away the prototypes because i felt too bad throwing them away.
it looks amazingg
what do i search for to get a fur that long? i need to reroot a lion’s mane but i don’t know how!
big z fabric (ecoshag), howl fabric, amazon, etc. look for luxury shag
I know this is an older video but if i wanted the Mohawk to be two different colors what should i do.(if another video on your channel explains this you can just tell me the title)
Could you do one for a skull or does this work on skulls?
Sorry i dont understand your question?

Hello! This isn’t really related to the video but my dog got ahold of my stuffed unicorn I won from the arcade and chewed off most of the Mohawk hair it had on top of it. The hair was like the ones on troll dolls and purple. Do you have any tips for how to find that texture of hair and how to sew more on? I would just get a new toy but this one is special to me and it makes me sad to see it like this.
It wasn’t thick like in the video- it is only a thin line of hair if that helps. It also is basically very short (1/8th inch?) now so there is some still attached
I'd look at big z fabric and howl fabric to see if they have a similar color. You may need to trim or shave it down to the appropriate length. If you can, you can try seam ripping the plush open and take the stuffing out and try to recreate the pattern piece using my method or if you can salvage the pattern from the plush. Then sew it back together, stuff, close the hole. Or if you dont want to do that, maybe you can just hand sew the fur on or glue it. But there will be raw edges on the faux fur which wont feel nice
@@makeshiftwingsplush thank you so much for replying! That’s very helpful
