If McCain can play 15-20 minutes a night and hit shots, with Ricky actually playing like he has, our depth won’t be an issue. Bona is just a nice surprise to have in reserves. Good signs in summer league so far.

I’m a duke fan and I think he will be a solid player in the future but uhhh. Buddy is 0-9 from three in his first 2 summer league games. Not a good sign

Ricky looked a little wreck less that game and now MacCain looked pretty good lol but you're gonna get that from crazy Ricky I guess. I needed him to get a slow down game like McCain lol

I mean, it's the summer league, but our guys looked pretty incredible! Gotta keep expectations on them down abit though, as they are youngins yet. The future looks good!~

Agree just summer league. There’s a lot to like but the rookies especially are gonna need some time possibly more than just this season to be of any real value. Big adjustment for them.

McCain lost his rhythm to be missing 1/7 from the floor and mentoring Bona to played more versatile and rebounds in college

Wendell Carter Jr & Trent Jr will be prefect for the Sixers

Three games out of his freshman year give him time he'll be fine.

I'm starting to think that missing out on Dalton Knecht was a big mistake. I think his upside is a lot higher than McCains and I like his additional height at shooting guard especially for the Sixers. I mean only time will tell, but a 2 guard that can also throw it down occasionally means something. Reminds me of a more rugged Tyler Herro. I mean, I hope I'm wrong, but we'll see.

I am glad you aren’t the sixers GM.
Knecht is not an NBA talent. Tobias Harris is much better than Knecht at pretty much everything, and you see how that went.
Knecht was an older college player, seal clubbing younger kids.
At the NBA level, he is like a less skilled version of Austin Reeves. He is not going to be dunking on NBA players the same way he did in college.
He is so bad defensively he will not even be able to stay on the floor as a bench player.

Naw McCain has higher potential in just about every area of the game.
McCain is rugged , SG/PG potential , great defender , rebounder , & at a much younger age , ball handling , toughness sky is the limit. Daltons likely ceiling is a spot up shooter bench scorer. He's poor defender , already 23 , not a rebounder , not a passer , not particularly athletic , and low ceiling overall.

Also knecht is not nearly as good a ball handler or passer as Herro. He's likely not as good rebounder as well.
I actually think Boston got a much better all around role player at #30.
