- What's up TM Nation?! In this video I provide you all with an unboxing and review of the Skullcandy Indy Fuel true wireless bluetooth earbuds. These are currently on sale for $99.99 and feature 6 hours of battery life on a single charge, IP-55 sweat/water resistant design, bluetooth 5.0, and a case that can charge the earbuds an additional 4 times for a total of 24 hours. The sound quality is pretty good in movies mode, although I don't care for the other two EQ modes available out of the box. These do have the ability to pause/play music, switch tracks, and hang up/pick up calls, and you have volume controls as well. The call quality is pretty good as well, the built in mic captures speech clearly so you shouldn't have any issues with call quality. The Indy Fuel's are essential the same as the Indy Evo's with but add the wireless charging case, and small cosmetic changes with the earbuds and the case. They perform the same as the Evo's in every way that I've tested and I believe those two differences are all that exist. Between the Indy Fuel's and the Indy Evo's I don't believe the $20 price difference is justified by the charging case. But if this is a feature you're looking for, you can get them with the Indy Fuel earbuds.

Alright guys so you can use the Indy Evo's with the app. I had to unpair my Push Ultras from my phone in order for the Evo's to be detected by the app, but they did connect after that. That being said, it appears all you get in terms of an upgrade in between the two is the wireless charging case.

Got these for 20 bucks on eBay refurbished. Total steal for the wireless charging and Tile support alone. They could be junk and those features would still make them worth more than what I paid.

The wireless feature is a must since I have a Galaxy s20 fe with the power share feature. I also got lots of pads around the house.

Great review, you really covered everything I had questions about. I think it would be a great review to compare these models be the J-lab Air Executive. I've owned those but would love to know call quality differences since I use these for work. It seems that charging and feel might favor the Indy Evo. Anyways, thanks again!
Just got these. They sound great, fit great and look great. Only gripe is the case closes weaker than the Indy evos. My evo case closes nice and tight. This one feels as if I have to push it shut harder but I still love em. I got mine for under 60.

And I think the call quality is not good enough even though you tested it in a quiet room which is not quite a real life situation.
I wish you could test that in the street or traffic rather than in a quiet room. And call another phone and play what the other side hears. Optionally, You can leave a message calling your other line and see how is the quality of the recorded message.

Great video thank you. Do you know if it's possible to adjust the volume when using one ear bud at a time? I noticed on your video that you have to push either the left or right earbud to increase or decrease the volume. Thanks again, will definitely be grabbing a pair for work.

Hey, I bought these 3 months ago. After 3 months of using left earpod suddenly started to play quiter than the other one. Did anyone had same problem and solved it? Or should I send them back for replace instead of trying to fix it?

Picked up a pair of Indy fuel at Costco on sale for $50. Was hoping for better sound quality but for that price they’re solid. I’ll probably be looking to spend more for some earbuds with better sound quality in the future.
I'm a fan of my feuls. Being able to use either ear is great. I accidently put them into "ambiance" mode and I was curious about what else I wasn't using.

I'm on my third pair of INDY EarBuds. All were stone dead out of the box, and I've had charging and battery life issues with all three. Often one earbud will not charge, and I get between 50min to 1:50 min operation per charge, and about two charges per case charge. The third set power's off when it says it has 30% remaining so I suspect the earbud batteries may be damaged from setting for months in a completely discharged state.
I've also had connection issues and it's hard to control the volume and playback using the touch controls on two Android devices, a windows laptop and an Ipad. Mic audio quality is poor and muffled, microphone levels are over-driven, and I suspect it may not be using A2DP for mic audio, but low bit rate codec.
I've also noticed audio quality differences between devices, and even quality change dramatically from one connection to another on the same device, and I suspect has to do with the codec changing between devices.
I don't have the option of wireless charging so leaving theie feature aside which earphones do you recommend between Evo and Fuel
My Indy evos keep trying to pair separately rather than together any idea on how to fix
At 10:23, you mentioned that there are 3 or 4 other kinds of ear buds you would recommend over these, have you made videos about those? I would love to hear about them. I’ve been rolling with Skullcandy Crushers for running and I feel like even though the sound is absolutely incredible and really makes me feel like I’m not even on this planet during my run, I’d like to move to an earbud that sounds pretty damn good and still has that punchy-bass that I’m looking for, just in a smaller package, like these Evo’s or Fuels. Any recommendation you have is appreciated.

I am getting the indy evo's today. I misplace stuff all the time so going with the indy ego's for the tile tracking. Tile tracking is how i keep track of several sets of keys. Plan to add a case cover so I can attach a tile to the case and keep track of them when in the case.

I just picked these up at Costco for $50. I had the airpods pro but returned them because I thought they sounded pretty bad for the cost. Overall, I'd prefer to go with the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 based on what I've heard about their sound quality, but most Amazon reviews say they are bad for working out. Do you know of any winged ear tips that would fit with the Anker charging case? Great video. Thank you for making it.

Honestly, if you have a costco card spend the $50 on the Indy fuels and save the $70 towards a new PS5 or xbox. I can't tell the difference in sound between the indy fuels and the original airpods.
