Awesome video guys, love it. Would you happen to have a Baxi Luna Duo-Tec MP fault finding manual. I'm a plumber from Australia and the manufactures don't put much in the manuals. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You ever thought about starting Amazon store with mats and airing keys things like that to support channel a bit? I would definitely carry my airing key with Allen’s mug on it proudly. 😂
So i had an e 110 on a baxi 630 did all the tests traced back to pcb as i followed the manufacturer instructions . Ch was fine but it would lock out on hot water and show e110 . Tap water running but no heat to taps . So i assumed the pcb as follwing manufacturer instructions would be a thing right so i priced it up informed the customer and asked to go ahead with the job. Booked in when part comes in . Now im infromed that the guy that fitted it 4 years ago has come out and said its the plate heat exchange. Im thinking no way is it that we have central heating and we have actual water running through it. How can it be the plate heat exchance . Anyone got any advances on this theory of his .
E110 is overheat on primary water temp. Would a blocked plate cause this? Did the boiler fire up when you ran the hot water tap or did it go straight to lock out?
Hi Jahan, 224 fault code indicated the boiler has overheated, as it had only been fitted a couple of hours it is more than likely air in the system affecting the circulation. I'd look to bleed the system/radiators and check the system pressure.
I had a E125 fault now it's saying E110 fault after trying hot water tap. When central heating trying to start the noise like stretching rubber then a thud and it's off again.
I've got exactly this, first engineer said it was the plate exchanger, which he changed, but next day had the same issue, then he said it's sludge in the system, needs a powerflush and then its basically the main heat exchanger thats blocked with debris. Powerflush booked for tomorrow so we will see!
@@ikyiky167 I had power to the pump but it was actually the pump needed changed then it ran fine. Touch wood so far so good. But they did steal my fluke multimeter!
@@checktheskies5040 - hahha now I think I need a third opinion! I've got exactly the same fault as you so maybe mine is the pump as well. Glad you are sorted

How much is a boiler breakdown course Allen ?
Not sure buddy, You would need to give Viva Training Academy a call. Thanks.
Thanks Roy and Allen, are you running fault finding courses at Viva yet?
Hi Richard, we're just about to launch a new range of courses at VIVA including fault finding.
Hi Allen
I installed Worcester 4000 25kw. After 2-3 hours fault code 224 came up on boiler screen???
