she missed a LOT of cues/leads... if you look at the dance critically you'll see her follow is uncertain, and slow sometimes, he covers it up well. At those moments, you can also tell by her face she knows she messed up. It takes a bachatero to see it apparently, judging from the comments. As an example, a particularly embarrassing one is at 4:29, where she completely misses the lead and staggers through it, instead of keeping her feet together. At a few other places, you can also see Daniel pulling the punch where he realizes she does not get the lead/what he's trying to make her do, and improvises and stops his signature moves halfway and simplifies them. But yes, Daniel is so amazing, he makes any girl look good... :)
I Like Beans I think it takes a bachatero that ACTUALLY AND ACTIVELY socially dances to realize whether it's in leading or following being able to catch almost all cues or give them accurately is impressive especially when bachata is not their specialty. The only stumble I noticed was at 4:29 which happens but both are incredible dancers and in my opinion (not a professional as I'm sure you are not either) it was a spectacular dance (:
yeah, the stumble was pretty obvious. The other missed cues are more subtle, which accounts for your not noticing them, even if Isabel did. I bet if i hadn't pointed out the stumble, you wouldn't have noticed it either, misconstruing it as part of the "spectacular dance". Daniel is amazing and courteous in the dance (and always), but if you want to see a spectacular dance, watch one of him dancing with a bachatera. ****She's an amazing dancer, and i'd love to dance with her any day, bachata or salsa, but she's not on thesame level as Daniel, bachata-wise. Personally, i prefer watching his other videos where he doesn't hold back/pull his punches.
I Like Beans I noticed the stumble long before you said anything not that it was substantial enough to even remember but I did see it. All the other "missed cues" looked to me like 2 people adjusting to eachothers styles of dance while in the moment which i say again if you are ACTIVELY a social dancer you understand this is common and you admire the fact that the dance looked well improvised off BOTH of their ends whether it was when she didn't catch a cue or when he didn't execute a lead strongly. I've seen plenty of both of their videos dancing with others which Is why I made the comment on them being able to dance well together in bachata. Point is I stand by my initial comment and you're free to comment your opinion on the video as well (: Have a great day.
I think i've watched this clip over a thousand times, I learned so much from this video, Daniel is so technical and at the same time smooth and Isabel is the kind of perfect lady to dance with. This video is the bible for any guy that wants to learn how to dance at top level in social, is such a shame that now Daniel and Desiree are too much into sensual that is almost impossible to dance social.
just so beautiful!! I'm starting my bachata lessons tomorrow...inspired by these amazing dancers! love you touch island!! kisses to la Alemana, désirée, ataca and Daniel! you inspired to start dancing bachata!!
Daniel is like a kid with a new toy!! You can see the sparkle in his eyes and the fire in his moves. But it could just be the song because I throw down to this song too!! Wait probably that hottie Isabel added to that fire. Did anyone notice he incorporated a more open American style instead of his usual tight and personal Spanish style? Dancing more like Tiguere and Ataca.
Isabel is a very good dancer! I saw a few video's of her.. damn! really talanted woman! Even though the dancing in this video isn't at the same level as other video's I saw of her, I still like this video the are both nice to watch! ;) compliments for them (y)

Dear god, that woman could walk up to me without saying anything else and say "Hey, wana get married," and I wouldn't even hesitate in saying yes. Maybe the man too, for that matter. What a beautiful couple.

They try too hard to dance like the Brazilian zouk R&B and Rap style danced by people like Jefferson Dadinho,Ricardo Veronezi ,etc. I seen them doing the same moves as Bruno Galhardo & Eglantine.
If you follow Daniel you will notice he dances awesome with anybody, even dudes(LOL)!! He is just so awesome and he has the passion and fire that takes any dance to the next level!!

@@humanyoda they have different styles...I think this is more fusion while Ataca is more moderna...Ataca's style is more elegant, Daniel's style is more sensual and sexual. No need to bash Ataca's style especially since you can never match his skills.
same steps in every song? have u seen traditional bachata dancing? thats way more repetitive...Daniel is a master at his skill, has rhythmn and is extremely musical. Not only does he have footwork, but also a variety of turn patterns, upper body play, hand tricks, and dips. You must be blind or not know anything about dance!

Frustrating to watch, being that Ive been going to salsa bachata clubs etc for over 15 years and I'm no where near this level. Its straight up free styling they're doing to this point. And I know the culture of these clubs, you screw up a turn or so she's giving you one song and thats it..
Pasan los años y este el mejor video de daniel sanchez para mi
She is so good at following his lead, so in sync for two people that don't dance together often it's amazing!
She really followed perfectly! You can see Daniel enjoyed it a lot!

beautiful dancing! and let me take the opprotunity to say: "DAAAAAMN daniel!"
No sólo se trató de los movimientos es la química que hubo entre ellos en ese momento.
Wow... 👏🏼
I like it when I can see a missed cue because they still look amazing and it helps me see how I can keep going in a dance after I miss a cue.
