Take it from someone who died and was brought back. We are not the body. When I died (ascended), I simply left my body. I came out of this meat suit and I could see everything and everyone. I remember my family but had an understanding that they were fine. It was absolutely beautiful. There was no pain, worry, stress or that sad feeling. It feels like you were held down for the longest and all of a sudden you're light as a feather. I seen colors and realistic cartoon characters. The colors can't be explained. They don't exist in this physical realm. You can see everything vibrating at its frequency. For example, if I looked at a tree I could see the vibration of it, I could see the life in it and realized they are literally living but we communicate in different ways. It makes you feel one with everything even dirt. You see it Alive and realize how we have been hurting and torturing them. We hurt them daily and not realize because we can't hear their screams when we are cutting them down or burning them. Another thing I can say is that I cried immediately when I opened my eyes and realized I was back in this realm. Like, why did you have to bring me back to this shitty place. I now suffer with depression and most wouldn't understand. I was literally at peace. This is a simulation that we are trapped in under light code lockdown. It's an illusion

A transformative journey led me to a pivotal moment of change. A severe migraine became the catalyst for my decision to cease drinking abruptly. This choice plunged me into a week of intense withdrawal symptoms, known as delirium tremens, where I encountered visions of the so-called "Hatman," which tested my spirit. In this trying time, I felt a divine presence of the Virgin Mary affirming the value of my soul.
The ordeal continued with another week in the ICU, where, amidst a manic episode, I found myself escaping the confines of my room, only to be gently guided back by my family’s comforting embrace. What I believed to be a late Thursday evening was, in fact, a bright Friday afternoon-a humorous twist to an otherwise harrowing experience.
Reflecting on these events, I’m filled with gratitude as I approach a milestone of four and a half years of sobriety, coinciding with my 33rd birthday. This journey serves as a testament to the belief that anything is possible and that a higher power watches over us all. Peace, love, and blessings. 🕊❤🙏

@@razorfingersJust calling his idea a blanket "simulation" like something like the matrix is skipping a few steps here I think. I don't think he's trying to state that there's literally something simulating our reality, more like... There's a mechanism, or a structure, or something like that, that exists outside of the reality "we" perceive. In reality trying to actually imagine what that's like or what that actually looks like is kind of impossible from the start.
So, how could we prove such an idea, other than mathematically? I tend to think it's more useful to look at views like this from the pattern of "possibilities". In science we have a lot of different trains of thought, all working in different directions towards some kind of explanation for how reality fundamentally works. What he's proposing is one possible solution to the holes that theories like quantum reality have in them from the outset.
In other words, it's a broad, grand speculation that may have some hard mathematics that you could attach to it, and he and his team are working to find those hard mathematics.

If you were to brush up on your research you would realize quickly that at least some of the above was a part of a long-standing theory of physics that only recently became much more fundamental after new technology coupled with the cumulative efforts of Alain Aspect, John F. I like Donald Hoffman's approach to this subject, and how he is trying to tie it into the seeming weirdness of Quantum Physics. By examining the connection to "consciousness" itself. Because there are so many words and shades of meaning connected to "consciousness" it may be necessary to dispense with a whole bunch of them and narrow it down to just two or three words. Maybe just "conceptualization" and "knowing". Just define "conceptualization" as the process of connecting symbols, words, numbers, pictures, time, space etc. and define "knowing" as the thing that makes "conceptualization" possible. In the normal waking state of human consciousness everything is "conceptualization" including the concept of Self as being separate from other things that are "conceptualized". Jung called this conceptual self the Ego. Behind this is the Jungian (individual and collective) "unconscious" where "the knowing" seems to reside, and that makes all this "conceptualization" possible. When we approach the "dreaming consciousness" we move away from the "hard conceptualization" and time and space and gravity and mass become very fluid, and not firmly structured any more. If Donald Hoffman can take this and turn it into a theory of "Conscious Agents" that can be expressed in the mathematical structure that science understands, and can relate to, and cannot refute, this will be a long way towards the unification of ALL SCIENCES, and stop the "isolated" discipline approach "where never the twain shall meet."

I don't think one can move forward unless terms like "consciousness" is clearly defined; it isn't. So, to modify Hoffman's definition I would say the host is fundamental and consciousness is the proof of the host's presence.

@@rachmann516 By nature, our ability to define things is often limited to the physical realm. However, if we allow ourselves to be open, even just for a moment, to the idea that consciousness may extend beyond the boundaries of the physical and the constraints of space and time, as suggested by Hoffman's analogy of a virtual reality game or headset, we open ourselves to exploring something beyond our current understanding.
I understand that this may sound irrational or nonsensical to our logical minds, which are primarily attuned to comprehending physical concepts. Yet, it is precisely this intuitive sense, which many spiritual seekers yearn for-a glimpse into realms that transcend the physical and offer a deeper understanding of consciousness.

@@_SoundByte_ - I don't have a problem with transcending physical constraints, I'm saying without a clear definition of "consciousness" one can't move forward with understanding and formulating a theory.
I posited; consciousness is the effect of a host in a body, just as the light from the electric light bulb is the effect of electricity. The light (bulb) is not electricity. Similarly, consciousness is the effect of a host, consciousness is not the host itself. Consciousness cannot be said to have transcended a physical constraint because it's the effect generated by a host. It's the host that transcends the material into the transcendent reality.
As you alluded to Indian and Eastern spirituality, the host is the self or atma. I think a comparison often used to describe consciousness as being distinct from the atma goes; as smoke is the symptom of fire, consciousness is the symptom of the atma.

The most interesting thing about this to me is that breakthrough psychedelic experiences seem to confirm the idea. People who do high enough doses of DMT frequently report consensus reality being completely disassembled and revealing to them a hyper realistic, hyper technological reality that feels more real than real life as if they woke up from a dream. Often overwhelmed by the sense that they’re returning to a extremely familiar place they’ve been to a million times.
As a materialist one might assume this is just a hallucination and product of brain activity. However, if consciousness is an emergent property, why would it have evolved the ability to assemble hyper sophisticated, continuously coherent alternate realities that most people never access. It seems ridiculous from a materialist, emergent consciousness perspective. BUT if you believe consciousness is a fundamental property from which matter is derived, that conflict disappears and serious ontological questions are raised about reality. It makes possible the idea that these “trips” ARE reality.

What am getting from this is that consciousness might all being centrally produced ... There may only be one consciousness ... And we all of us are just experiencing a "perspective" of it, or a small piece of it.
We may just be receivers of the singular unified consciousness ...
Or even if we have multiple consciousness, like if everyone had a separate consciousness, it is still unified to one because the moment one consciousness starts the process of building the reality, everyone else would just be forced to get on board with the already started process because that reality has already been formed. Meaning in the end we are basically building one unified consciousness, if it's not already one.
This type of awareness might, if true, might guide how research is done ... Or how much we appreciate each other's opinions and observations - because we may be just pieces of one huge "machine".

The morning I was leaving to drive back to my home state, I hadn't slept well and needed to leave around 6:00 am to get the car back to the rental agency without being charged for an extra day. So I awoke a little groggy. I stepped on the floor by the bed and stood up. I looked down at my feet and they looked large (I have small feet), they looked nearly white (I have pink feet) and they looked somewhat purple (from veins or bruising). I said to myself, "Those look like Aunt Jessie's feet!" I blinked and looked harder, but for a second or two I felt like I was Aunt Jessie (inside my head) - looking out at my feet. My feet looked like my own again, but for those 2 seconds or so, I felt the presense of Aunt Jessie, her essance, her awareness - viewing the world through me.

@@entheomusic What I understand, as a 50+ years old medical doctor, and a lifetime interest, and some knowledge therefore, in the ways of science, in the truths so far revealed by harder sciences like physics, chemistry, biology, etc., and secondary ones, like medicine, is that there must be some strong evidence for new 'scientific' laws to materialize. Do you see some evidence of a multiverse? What about a simulation? We would need to be outside looking in to see such truths. Is it a coincidence that, now that we live in the era of computation, we believe, and try to prove by any means necessary, that we are ourselves the byproduct of a computation? It might be true, but we cannot prove it, just as it might be true that there is one God, but we can't prove it. I might as well say that there are infinite gods in an infinite multiverse, and you could not prove me wrong. But that is not the way science works. That is faith. Those theories are not proven: they are not backed by scientific evidence. D. Hoffman is not convincing me, and I could be considered by today's standards to be a man of science. Although, I am not a science fundamentalist. That is, I don't think the different sciences can have the answer to all there is in the world, to all our doubts about the world. For that task, I am better served by a philosophical system from real philosophers. Philosophy has better tools to dive into the limits of human knowledge, and the limits of scientific discovery. Some scientists are trespassing their particular scientific framework, to literally make up ideas explaining the world, without the science to back them up.

That's why if you look at nature animals that are less conscious of everything are more predictable so they are influenced a lot more by the laws of nature, it's like navigating in auto pilot but that's not what we want instead it should be the other way around it should be us who should have influence over these forces and laws because everything is contained within us.

Then what is the “me” that has free will or not ,takes another much deeper twist.
Perhaps one can say that the perceived illusionary me ,that includes thoughts and sensations is destined.

one of my favorite quotes is , " We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.” ― Max Planck Also the famous, "to exist is to be perceived." Matter subsists in Consciousness'. There is no reality outside of the Mind. If you have to put a definition to God you could simply say He is the first builder, the first thinker.

In realms of thought, we ponder deep,
A question vast, our minds do keep,
Is consciousness real, or merely dream?
A puzzle complex, it may seem.
In a world of circuits, codes, and streams,
Emerges a theory, bold it gleams,
A simulation vast, where we reside,
New science unfolds, perception to guide.
From quarks to stars, a grand design,
Yet skeptics wonder, is it benign?
The fabric of reality, woven fine,
Or lines of code in a digital line?
    Philosophers and thinkers debate,
As science leaps through boundless gate,
Do neurons fire in a coded dance?
Or is there more to this cosmic trance?
New science whispers, a theory profound,
Consciousness emerges, in bytes it's found,
    Virtual landscapes, our minds traverse,
Infinite realms, for us to immerse.
But ponder, dear souls, what truth may bring,
For simulations too have their own spring,
    Questions unanswered, in layers concealed,
The nature of being, still unrevealed.
Whether in code or in atoms' flight,
    Consciousness dances, eternal light,
    A symphony woven, reality's song,
In the tapestry of existence, we all belong.
So let us explore, with hearts aglow,
The boundaries of truth, as we ebb and flow,
In this grand simulation, or life's intricate seam,
Consciousness blooms like a vibrant dream.

I feel like I’m going through something right now and you touched in allot of what im thinking about but don’t understand. I have been going through life wondering why, i feel inner peace now like I don’t really need to understand why but i need to try and get the most out of life because we don’t really know how long we have and what exactly we are learning to take with us into whatever is next. David Goggins is my absolute favorite interview you had.

If you have a listen to Dolores Cannon, her model of "Earth School" answers the question about the rules and the "one source." She goes to say, "we picked this life out of all the others as part of our training." So if we picked this life, then we made the rules. Very interesting and deep stuff to take in. 😊

Spirit science says something similarly that everything we know and have know is our creation. We either accepted the shared consciousness or perceived ourselves if everything is made from atoms then we are simply creating all we see abs hear and feel based off sensory information received from other atoms which are conscious and are also 90% empty space making everything 90% nothing

The dream analogy explains the dynamics of "spiritual healing." For example you enter a nighttime dream and find yourself swimming with friends in a river and decide to climb up on some high rocks to jump, but part way up your feet slip and you fall gown fifteen feet and land painfully on your arm which breaks. Suddenly you wake up and find yourself in your bed with your heart racing, and instinctively you feel for your broken arm which to your relief is unharmed. Sill feeling very tired and not fully awakened you relax and after a few moments you re-enter the dream with your friends swimming in the river. However, the realization of the truth that your arm was okay when partially waking will have "corrected" the "false belief" that your arm was ever damaged in the dream. Likewise, if this same scenario happened in the waking state, and you were able to "wake up" from the waking state into your deeper and higher spiritual being, your realization of your unharmed condition there would likewise correct the false belief of your having a broken arm in you waking state, and this would then appear as a miraculous healing.

Hard to say. It feels as real as the table in front of me, even though the "table" isn't real, it's an abstract construct of my mind. The table is a pattern of energy created by sub atomic particles. Although the table can disappear, be shredded, or even burned, the particles go on to create new things or patterns. Thus showing the temporary nature of an any object, much like how clouds change shape over time so does the energy that moves through time. Maybe our consciousness doesn't "go" anywhere, much like how the table doesn't go anywhere, but simply changes form to become other forms of patterns of energy.

In human term it is empty but not nothingness. Our consciousness are real but established by our named dimension of time. Higher dimensions intelligent does not necessarily takes form! They are perfectly OK with their manifestation capabilites. Only through true consciousness as to knowing the truths phenomenals around us shall we yields true wisdoms. And true wisdoms will leads us to true infinity! By then you are equally formless and manifestable!

I love the convergence of the science and the spiritual teachings, it helps me understand where just hearing everything is an illusion doesnt cut it. even though i do believe it. probably because I am in human form, filtering through my brain. anyway, i wish I knew someone I could have these conversations with. Beautiful conversation to listen to! But I have to say I am always torn on the subject.
On one hand I believe, thinking that we all live in a simulation doesn’t really benefit humanity, might even make some people not care at all.
On the other hand, it’s questioning reality in those ways, that leads to clearer insight and understanding - leaving a longing to learn more and more.

Thinking or knowing we are in a simulation just trivializes everything. I don't understand. So many people are being hurt/tortured, it makes it seem like a sick joke. Anger is an understatement to describe how I feel.

Science is taking the centuries-long path to arrive at what spiritual disciplines have known since the beginning. It's no surprise to me that intense study of creation is leading back to The Creator. "Simulation" is just a term they are using as a placeholder for the concept that there is more to existence than physical reality, such that what we thought was real is a projection by something that, by this relationship, is even more real than our reality.

We need to reprogram to understand the matrix was supposed to be to create. But some ppl that knows this knowledge did their best to keep us in fear, pride and every low vibrations. My theory is the universe need to balance it out. That why so many ppl are not watching the news . A lot of ppl are looking inwards for happiness. Information is now so easy to have so we are bouncing ideas of each other from all over the world.
