Here's an interesting fact WrestleMania 20 is the only show that featured both ex WCW wrestlers walking out of WrestleMania as world champions. Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero both left as world heavyweight and WWE champions.

Eddie winning in the most clever way, and the triple threat is in my top 5 favorite matches of all time. Sucks what happened with Benoit and his family. I still love Wrestlemania 20, even after everything that happened after. It was around the time I got back into wrestling during my teens and I pretty much remember everything leading up to it and it all seemed to work perfectly for me at the time
anyone else remember Ultimo Dragon slipping over twice during his entrance in the cruiserweight open match? also, my biggest question about wrestlemania 20 is, why was triple h in white boots? I don't think he ever wore them again, I just remember it looking kinda weird

If memory serves correctly, the Wm 20 main event was the first match of any kind to end with an actual submission, if you exclude Hart and Austin at Wm 13 where Austin passed out rather than submitting.
An honourable mention for the fascinating facts for this Wrestlemania 20 list: Trish Stratus' heel turn after the match between Chris Jericho and Christian was a last minute idea. In a podcast interview with Steve Austin a few years ago, Stratus said (I think) that Jericho was originally meant to go over in his match with Christian, which was part of the love-triangle story line, and that he and Stratus would finally get together and go on to become an on-screen comical babyface couple. However, on the day of Wrestlemania 20, Vince McMahon approached Stratus and said "I got an idea..." and pitched the heel turn. I don't recall why this idea was pitched, and why so late in the day, but everyone seemed happy with the idea, and that's what played out at the PPV.

Hey whatculture guys, just a little correction: 2 Wrestlemania matches had been finished with Undertaker Hell's Gate: against Edge and the "leaving in a cart good god in a can't bye bye long hair" match againd Triple H! Awesome video as ever!!!
Daniel Bryan is kind of boring. HOLD IT!!!! Let me explain. Mr.Danielson is an incredibly skilled wrestler, with amazing work rate and he works very well with almost all types of wrestlers. The problems in his wrestling career are OUTSIDE of the ring. There is almost nothing to him,the character has no personality,he doesn't have a look that is iconic,or an amazing intro song (yeah Flight of the Valkyries is fun,but gets old). He has 2 things to him,the fan reaction with a relatively boring chant (the story around the chant is fun though) and he is an underdog.....Yay? P.S - I would kill to see a proper match between Bryan and Aj Styles.
The fans really didn't like Shawn segued into the main event; watch it again, he was booed every time he wanted their support. It was only done because Paul & Shawn wanted to headline. You'd think they'd have learnt that fans only want a singles match for the championship after WrestleMania 2000. I'm not surprised the crowd supported the only actual wrestler in the match.
Vince didn’t think Benoit/HHH would draw so Shawn was injected into the match. It fit the story of Benoit being under-appreciated perfectly and having Chris overcome two HoFers to regain the Big Gold Belt was all the more satisfying!
I really really hate Brock Lesnar. He doesn't give a damn about the buisness just a paycheck. Other than look an legitimate athletic ability, wtf is all the hype over? all Lesnar fans I personally know use the argument: HAR HAR HE CAN FIGHT N REAL FIGHT HAHA NO FAKE. who cares? it's a damn show a performance. no selling, no move set, and no neck isn't a good performance.
Brock hates the business? Well, didn't he continued wrestling after he left WWE? He went to New Japan and had some good matches, especially with Kurt Angle once again. And during his time in the UFC, I never seen him talk smack about the wrestling business. Matter of fact, he actually defended it, putting it over as this tough sport that takes determination and pain. Plus, which company offered him the better contract, WWE or UFC? And which company did he went after WM 31? So before you throw at your bs, do some research. Watch some of his matches in 03, especially with Angle. Classic matches. It's not that easy to pick up and spin a person that's as big as The Big Show.
"no selling"? He's one of the best sellers in the business. He can take hard shots (ie Hardy Boyz chair shots to his head or jumping ridiculously high for chokeslams). "no move set" yet Ruthless Agression Lesnar has one of the best Powerhouse movesets ever. Watch his 60 minute Iron Man match with Kurt Angle on a Smackdown show and then come back and say he can't wrestle... The guy had the entire package minus mic skills (but he tried). He doesn't care anymore because he's at the top of the food chain. You've got guys half his size competing against him now. Lesnar's just laughing it off for the paycheck.
If you actually knew what type of person Benoit was, then even he wouldn't have wanted to be in HOF. If he loved the business so much, he wouldn't want what he did to take away from the HOF.
Chris Benoit was one of the greatest wrestlers and deserved the accolades he received. That being said, a hall of fame induction would always have an asterisk by it. it's better to leave him out
No, it'll never happen in a trillion years. As much as fans want to remember him for his wrestling career it will always be overshadowed by how he left this world, regardless of what happened or did not happen that day. Neither Vince nor anyone in WWE will choose to induct him because of the fact they are a public company with shareholders who need to be kept happy, even though WWE is no longer strictly PG "kid friendly" they are still family friendly and inducting a man who is widely known for having taken the life of his child and life partner before taking his own would not sit well with the media or many fans/parents. WWE would only muddy their reputation and it would gain nothing, or very little, not worth the risk of losing the shareholders and/or their reputation.

Still one of the best Manias RIP Eddie & Chris

Jim Ross said that Chris Benoit wouldn't want to be in the Hall of Fame because he would only be remembered for murdering his wife and his kid.
