Hey man! Thanks for another crazy cool deck! I saw Zeddy do some impressive stuff with Protoss Mage too. I’ll have to try it. Speaking of cool deck ideas, I’ve got another one for ya. It’s “Terran Tourist Shaman”, featuring Hagatha, Frosty Decor, Furious Fouls, and Sasquawk. Got Incindius in there too, with Triangulate and Bird Watching. It’s my strongest recent deck idea, most definitely. I’ll put the code in a reply here. Have a great weekend, man! 🤠👍
something i realized as ive tested decks for this miniset while its fun its going to be hard to make no overlap :/ Which is why I almost scrapped this vid but since i had it edited already we just rushed it out instead :P I'm going to try something with shaman i just dont know what yet because the meme i wanted to do is just the most common version of terran shaman right now
@ I hear ya. Playing “the best” versions of deck archetypes bores me too, which is a big reason why I enjoy your vids! Btw, I already edited my Terran Tourist list. Put in Furious Fowls, rather than Death Roll. SOMEtimes DR will be better, but Fouls is just a far more proactive card in the midgame, and can go face directly, when necessary. ALSO, Shudderblock absolutely works when used with a Hagatha Slime using Fouls. It will summon up to 6 birds, which can all hit the opponent. Doesn’t happen often, but it’s another way to win. Not a bad spell to Triangulate occasionally too. I’ll update my deck code here. 👍
the one downside with having to get far ahead just incase im out of commission for longer then i expect is the overlap is going to be probably more noticeable:/ im hoping the artanis list will be out before others get to it but we will see. Atleast with the terran list i got its highlander and i dont think ive seen anyone do that yet But yeah it feels like i’ll probably end up scrapping about 50% my day 1 ideas to avoid overlapping to much & just go back to focusing on old cards til rotation/balance changes
@ A few more observations, while the deck is fresh in mind: Triangulate is EXCELLENT in my list. There’s so many good choices for it, depending on the game state. If early game, and ya need draw; try to copy a Birdwatching or Lift Off. Extra Thrall’s Gifts are great vs Zerg, (slows the Infestation), and even Frosty Decor can be a game winner, vs something like Weapon Rogue. Later in the game, ya can dupe Incindius’ Eruptions, which have always been better than Asteroids, when your strat heavily involves minions. Sasquawk is HIGH value here too, providing extra Starship pieces, another Incindius, extra draw, more Shudderblock minis, more 8/8 Growfins, etc. It’s excellent vs slower opponents, for significant extra resources. Anyway… the deck’s definitely competitive and a lot of fun. It’s quite versatile, and most of the list, (all but Cactus Cutter), will remain in Standard, post rotation. Hope ya like it. 😁
i mention that in the video >.< follow the one in the description its the most up to date version i had goos games that i didnt want to scrap with older variants but a much lower winrate(nauthing tho could top the 50+ attack game so it was still in the vid) & after i changed cards around the winrate went up by a lot
12:39 "Final game of the video" "isn't the last game of the video" I played this deck a lot day 1 and 2 but stopped because the paladin aggro deck started getting popular and I don't think there's a way this deck is good in that matchup, even if you put heat wave in. Also this deck isn't great against zerg dk. You end up having to race them in mid to late game and they're just so much more consistent at that. Then sometimes you just lose to turn 2 buccaneer... I don't understand how that card hasn't been nerfed yet...
Yeah... That game was from stream at it was the final game of the stream the others were one i record off stream :P I usually order the games in a way where the best game is first and the worse ones are last. So sometimes stuff like this happens :P
I think your list is too slow. Too much random card generation just ends up filling your hand with bad cards. glyph, volume up, and infinitize is the most I would do. I also like brewmasters, and bob. That carried me to diamond 5 but I don't think it's that good after day 2. Maybe tier 2 or 3.
I would cut Void Gate if nothing else. I’ve always found it to be a dead draw and it gunks up the Chrono Boost pool. It’s just way too slow of a card when you’re only running two Protoss minions. I would cut a lot of the random generation cards for more survivability cards. Sleet Skater is pretty massive armor gain plus freeze and often results in a turn or two stalled when you freeze their biggest dude. Blizzard is too slow, I would replace it with Rising Waves instead. The freeze from its effect is rarely relevant when the 2 damage can often kill the swarmier lists alone, and needing to wait until turn 6, using your whole turn to freeze feels really bad. All in all, Protoss mage when you lean more into survival until your Colossus turns feels a lot like old school freeze mage.
