Al, I can't thank you enough for your efforts building this and seeing how it came together with the help of a bunch of other mates has just been the perfect icing on my PowerCubed™ Volvo cake. Friggin rad build. I loved my 740 Turbo and 940 Turbo - they're not that heavy so even the factory 168 hp and like 200 lb-ft torque goes a loooong way towards making them fun. My 940T had a locking rear diff, the G80 type "automatic locking". Too much wheel spin and there's a clunk and both wheels are doing the same thing, for getting out of snowbanks... or crashing into stuff 😂 That V8 fits in there beautifully, someone might even mistake it for a stock motor with a cone filter if you weren't looking too close (except it's on the wrong side). You sure know something's up with that exhaust note though. Great job everyone!

Gifts giving is better than gift gaining and id be damned if i wasnt crying if my friends took my car and overhauled it as id almost not know what to do. Tearing up moment i seen all you young lads smiling waiting for him to knock! Theres heart in it and its heard!

Oh it's nice to be able to watch a cool bunch of people get to do nice things for a mate. We learned a few things here: get Juzzi to do a skid if you need the people to clear out of the shed. Al struggles with camera work principally due to his eyes failing him (I know the feeling mate) and, um, oh yeah, it's better to give than receive.
Yet again, you keep on raising the bar just that little bit more. Well done to Al and all of the crew who helped with this surprise. Not only do you give us great content, to sit back and relax and end of a hard day (Hopefully Lemon Squash in Hand). But this goes to show what we all really need to do in the world, go out and help your mates. Cheers

It been good to see you help out your mate Al. It also bought same of my own fond memories back of my mate Mato's old Volvo. Two other Mates and me flamed it one arfo with $2 rattle cans and a black texta for the HSV High Speed Volvo logo. That HSV Volvo was the funnest Car I have ever known. The looks that car got bought so much laughter

I dislocated my shoulder and was supposed to move out of my old house. id lived there for 2 years never missed a rent payment nothing, I needed a 1 week extension. they changed the locks on the house, and wont give me my stuff till I pay them. not even my mail (which has cheques for me to deposit) all over 100 bucks!
