Everyone touts the Ellen performance the better live version of the song but I prefer the Grammy performance version, you could really see they both were having fun with it.
Hmm, great video per usual... Though I do love this performance, I don't think it's as great as the magic that they captured on the actual recording. There is this gorgeous part of the recorded song which they never performed live and it kills me because it's my favorite part. I will not tell you what it is, but if you hear it, you'll know. And P.S. My favorite Christina Jazz performance was her 2014 Live performance of I WANT A LITTLE SUGAR IN MY BOWL at New Orleans Jazz-Fest of that same year. While being extremely pregnant with her daughter Summer Rain. I highly recommend it. : )
Sorry to correct you. But this was written by Leon Russell, who did a fantastic, heart felt version himself. I will agree, he did the quintessential version though. Ray Charles did a phenomenal version too.
You should react to her versions of At Last(stripped tour or the Etta James funeral), or Stormy Weather, or It's a Man Man Man's world. Also her duet with Gaga on the voice.
She was totally out of her element. There wasn’t really any subtlety of notes, tone, volume or musicality. Please listen to Haley Reinhart who is an incredible jazz singer especially when coupled with Postmodern Jukebox (Creep) I Put A Spell on You; God Bless the Childe with with Irvin Mayfeild etc
100% I totally agree with this

Great reaction! You should check out her performance of climb every mountain and it’s a man’s world. Two of her best!
This was such an insightful reaction. I love it when I can get a new perspective on something I've already seen a ton of times.
