These batteries are around 2500-2800mah real capacity, so nowhere 4000. But lets be real, it is still a huge upgrade over the original 1560mah batteries. The batmax branded ones are also high quality and have every safety feature and circuit. I have gone from 12 hours to 19,5 hours with one charge. It is a big difference, worth the buy.
How long does it take to charge?
I estimate about 20-30mins, going by the Battery Indicator on the PS5
There's a couple that are actually 3000 mah or more but they're 3x the price and much bigger physically. Easylander is good. So is the one wrapped in kapton tape. And the other one wrapped in a light gray clear tape.

It's pretty disgusting that Sony didn't release these with simple AA batteries that we could replace ourselves with rechargeables...
I had to use double sided tape to hold the battery in place. It was banging around inside the controller due to it's size proportion. Anyways I no longer need to charge my controller this battery is a beast and lasts for several days.
For those who say that all 4000 mha batteries are fake, they do not have to be fake, they can use a different technology to increase their mha without increasing their mm.
Will this work for the edge? I think a another video is in order 😁

100% yes there will always be a percentage of the 4000mah battery which you wont get, so say 3926MaH and not the full 4000mah. But yeah 1 charge will last about 2.6x ish give or take over a stock 1560MaH Sony battery :) Problem though is finding these batteries, if your lucky you can get one defo buy and install, One of the Few upgrades thats needed for the PS5 :)
Sorry guys but it´s a fake battery. The batterie capacity of the sample we have ordered is 2508mAh. There is no space into the controller vor 4000maH. Our Team has developed first customized battery pack for PS5 Controllers. The maximum is 2650mAh we could realize. That´s the bench mark we set as first company offering PS5 battery in Europe. I assume technical it´s possible to enlarge capitity by 100mAh but non of our competitors has this know how based on battery quality we have seen so far. My intension to write this comment is because I really hate traders giving fake information especially if customers belive that crap;0) We test all batteies here in germany and willing to prove our statements with test results. Just for interest unfortunatelly it´s not possible to upgrate edge Controller battery capicity because it´s absolut no space for bigger battery. Frederik
Still better than the stock battery. I got this "4000" as well. The improvement is night and day.

i got this battery too, seems satisfy enough because 2650 seems pretty huge capacity to me.. its stills a better battery than the stock battery that only last like 5 hours top

@@RestoreTechnique in reality it could be real because they may use a more advanced system such as nanotechnology, which allows a component to be more powerful without increasing its size.
@@FrankMur23 Any larger battery would be advertised as having nano tech if did have it. And nearly all of the larger batteries are just falsely labelled, or are larger in size.
@gtekks im in canada and cant find any battery to upgrade is there a special site other than ebay that comes with spudgers and utilities needed?
Batteries are hard to find, they stopped shipping from China due to the Lithium inside, so its either Ebay, AliExpress(if they ship) or any site you can find that do these batteries? i only managed to bag 4 of these, are they are so hard to Find :(

@@gtekks it is now called pickle power and some have other model numbers so you need to make sure if the controller model is that version or the upgraded model that has 1700mah!

Hi guys if you wanna real capacity instead of this fake try to find 104060 Liter battety pack10mm thick it will give you real 3000mah.
All those fake 4000 MAH is 704060 7mm thick and wont give you more then 2400 mAh. Hope it help you.
I think I see what you mean, no way to get 3000 out of 7mm. Have you installed a 104060 in a ps5 controller? I would like to try this but cant find if anyone has done it before

This battery is definitely not 4000mah. I just recently replaced the battery in my dualsense controller, and it just barely fits. It's 3000mah. You'd have to be pretty uninformed to believe a battery that size could be any where near 4000mah
I've tested most of these supposed higher capacity batteries for PS5 controller and the 1560 last as long as the 4k. So ultimately different is the label and false advertising
Not really. All this replacement like 7x40x60 or 10x40x60 mm size. So they realy have 2500 or 3000 mAh not 4000 ofc. Try Liter chinese battery manufacturer its really good I have bought few for my mouse and other devices and capacity is like they advertised.

you wont get the full 4000mah as there will be a variable %difference, just like you wont get the full 1650mah on the Stock one again there will be a variable %difference, but this will last alot longer on one charge than the stock one, hope that helps?
@@gtekks it's literally impossible for a battery that fits in a dualsense to have 4000mAh. All these batteries from no name Chinese "brands" come from a few oems in China. They just rewrap them.
I have a tester and this is a little bit under 2600.
