- Well I finally went and picked picked up the new sleds today. some people seem confused about why I would buy two of the "same" sled. They will be totally different animals! Maybe I should've got a 165 but I have my dads sled to try so ill be able to give a good run down on sled lengths from 146 to 165. I also ran a 146 my first year riding in bc back in 2017!
Hahaha, how relatable that part with ya gf was....I often have similar situation with my mom, last year me(15) bought a little 600 and then me and my dad who helped transport it came home. Mom was just like "why, what do you need that thing for now?"
and i was "Its nice, everyone should get one, just smell that lovely 2smoke!". 🤙
And then in summer at 20°c i come home with new parts...shes like "you wont be riding until december!" and im "but its winter in ma head now, by the way look at these cool handlebars!"
Yess im excited to watch your pow adventures this year! I'll make my choice on which one to buy from your videos
I had rode a summit x 154 turbo and, a freeride 154 turbo last season and, hands down for some reason the summit felt and, performed/handled alot better than the freeride did. I had rode them the same day back to back...not really sure what it was that made the freeride not feel as good as the summit did but, you should definitely try and, ride a new summit to compare. Congrats on the new sleds!
Epic!! Super hyped you got 2 sleds. No more bog problems when there is deep snow. Can't wait to see the turbo as well. Just tell the gf the 146 is for when she wants to ride 😉

Went for a ride in revy this weekend and it’s deep already at Boulder. But only got to ride for a half day till my sleds motor went on it’s first ride of the season.

If you’re riding this winter in katrine, I ride off of doe lake and drive a 2019 900 turbo, we should do a drag and link for a ride!

How many miles/km will you put on a sled a season?
5000km last season. If I didn’t film as much probably 6000
Hopefully Covid cools the jets really quick like. I'm hoping this winter is going to be a good one. Maybe i'll get out filming with you this season, going to be riding with Landon quite a bit i hope.

@@MuskokaFreerider he’s a good rider for sure. I stay in sicamous most of the time as well, find it a lot nicer then Revy, no ski hill. We often drive to Revy as a group though. Hopefully Covid clears up and they let us travel!

Interesting sled choice. With all the epic snow conditions you get to ride in, I couldn’t see myself on anything other than a 165. But I am curious about how the 144 works out. I ride a 153 personally, but I don’t see an many insanely deep days as you 😂
Haha yeah lots of people would choose the 165 but Im pretty happy on the 154. 146 will be for lower snow day(maybe take it one deep day for shits😂)
What headlights did you switch out for?
Some cheap things off Amazon. Just prefer the colour in pictures if I’m being honest 😂

Well I actually have three snowmobiles and I just bought the 154 freeride turbo 2 1/2 track because they wouldn't give me a 165 with a 2 1/2 track :(

This is exactly why you need to get rid of the GF. Ripping and girls do not mix. Ripping is cheaper trust me. To boot if you don't like the sled dump it for a new one and the old one doesn't haunt you forever and a day. Enough said lets go rip!
