- No music, no nonsense, just climbing.
A brief look at a few of the problems I managed to climb during a very stop-start season on Yorkshire grit.
Problems:
Edge of Darkness - Earl Crag
Chiasmata - Almscliff
Red Baron Roof - Shipley Glen
The Keel - Almscliff
Deliberate Mutation (first ascent) - Great Wolfrey
Kojak - Deer Gallows
Jason's Roof - Crookrise
Home Front - Rylstone
Pinch 32 (sit start) - Baildon Bank
Howling at the Moon (first ascent) - Great Wolfrey
Thanks to everyone that came out to the crag with me to spot, carry pads and cheer me on, it means a lot.

Loved this film man and really liked the fact that you didn't use any music of any sort, enjoyed all the grunts! So impressed at Howling at the moon...!
Brilliant, thats just got me pretty psyched on some grit, which takes some doing! Nice one Ollie.
AdamLincoln1979 cheers! It shouldn’t take you much to get psyched for the grit, it is so good!
Howling at the Moon looks a king line well in mate
Cheers Carl! Was pretty psyched to get it done.
Super strong Ollie. I was thinking about checking out Kojak before the lockdown. How hard is it?
Cheers Nath! It’s good, one of those ‘easier for the tall’ blocs as the crux is a big move and then holding a swing. Well worth a go at though.
Henchness on Jason's Roof.
