- In this video, I talk about the biggest editing mistakes you guys can't stop making in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2. I got this idea after one of you direct messaged me on Twitter, asking to make an updated guide on important mistakes to avoid. However, I wanted to focus it specifically on editing since that's what a lot of you guys seemed to struggle with the most. These mistakes will include general tips and concepts to help you edit faster and better, as well as specific gameplay errors involving your edits that you don't realize your making. Additionally, I include examples from pro players such as FaZe Mongraal, NRG Benjyfishy, and SEN Bugha to showcase the right way, and talk about my own personal experiences and tips and tricks I use myself. So, if you're looking for the biggest editing mistakes you need to avoid, this video will definitely help you out. On top of that, this video will help you improve at the game, get better as a player, and win more in Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 2 Season 2.

fun fact, unknownxarmy has grinded my impossible course daily & benjy also uses my maps. i think edit courses are really useful but so is freebuilding/editing as you mentioned

and an idea that i got from balla is that you can practice piece control by playing edit maps, and claiming+editing extra pieces whenever theres some empty space in the course
since in boxfights you happen to edit through pre-placed structures while also building new ones

I have an video idea, how about making another gamesense 101 "episode", but only with duo tips. I think a lot of people would find that very helpful. Most of your vids are only based on solos, so I think that'd be great :)

@@Jpgaps but when i edit im moving forwards not to the right and u also use ur index finger for G. G is further away from WASD than E and u just need to move ur index finger up a little

Please controller players, if you haven’t already, switch to left stick edit. Holding circle is delayed, if u still use it, the best editing tip you can get is to change your actual bind

I use G for edit, and I won't never change. It's been proven, that your thumb is the most responsive finger on your arm, and the most confromtable position for my thumb is G.

So I cant switch my Edit bind, and Im comfortable with it so yea
Use mouse buttons for your stairs and walls, and interact with mouse wheel up, there you go.

I got a trick for everyone who wants to swith keybinds but still try to earn money in cash cups like me. I first looked what keybinds i want to switch to and then started to switch to one of them first. This way i had to practise less because only one keybind was strange. When I felt good with that keybind I went on an switched an other and did that until all of my keybinds were changed. For sure the procces takes longer than switching all keybinds at the same time but i was still able to do well at cash cups

i know someone asked for this but what we need is a offensive and defensive boxfighting guide. With examples from top tear boxfighters like Clix. Not pub strats that require a RPG or a duo just straight up Wager and Creative competitive boxfights. Pure tips and tricks for Offense when your W keying and defence when your getting w keyed hardddd in your box. Please get this boxfighting guide out and use clix and other top tier boxighters ingame examples only from creative and wagers. thankyou jerian
I discovered akhram recently and his gameplay looks really calm and smooth, he is never doing three useless edits in a row but always win the fight without taking a lot of damage. Really impressive !

And I still am but my point is I have tried to switch my edit bind to e but I can’t get used to it. Idk what to do to get used to it. I have a guestiom Mr. Papa Jerian. I dont have any problems with my editing and I am very good at both in game and creative. I reach the key easily too. Honestly I dont think that I Will get better if I change my bind from (G) to (E). In my opinion the only way that i become better is put more time. What do you think? If someone fills ok about his edit key, is it really worth it to change it??

My take on controller players like NRG Unknown making more 'optimized' edits. Unlike k&m players that can whip their mouse around to make quick edits, controller players must slowly learn about crosshair placement while editing in order to reach speeds like k&m players while still keeping control of their aim. This leads to them making more 'optimized' edits like you stated, all due to them attempting to match k&m editing speeds.
Always use your tips and tricks that’s how I’ve became so much better
I don’t mean to sound in optimal, but I use V as my edit bind because it allows me to tunnel easier being able to still press a and d while editing, aswell as all my builds being off of throws fingers aswell
