Mr MEC why you didn't close the N3 on Thursday if the weather services told you about the weather? Now you have all those trucks waiting in a line... It's going to be dangerous when they all start moving again
This is what happens when you destroy the rail infrastructure. The entire country depends on the N3 to move everything. If the N3 breaks you cut the link between KZN, Free State and GP. The economy stalls. Trains don't care about a bit of snow but you broke, lost and stole the trains. This is the result. Thousands of immobilized trucks. So figure out who is responsible for this mess. It's not difficult.
Where's the humanity factor? Blankets, food, etc. No one expected that kind of snow despite the warnings. Surely there should be emergency plans to assist people.
