One very happy fox and it was healing to see him eat today since I haven't been able to hold food down. Loki makes days brighter even on sick days. He is a great fox.

It is impressive how Loki is hand fed, and eats communally. My doxi's won't eat unless we are eating. I guess they are pack animals. Your pup is so sweet and so full of personality

I am still going through his poop... piece of mind would be GREAT, I was hoping it was under his cage but I cleaned and nothing. Going to call the vet tomorrow to ask some questions

Loki is very cool. Wish I had the time and space to have a pet red fox. From the videos I have seen they are a lot of work. I wouldn't want to be anything but a great owner
They do take a lot of work and patience because they get into EVERYTHING!!!! and you have to protect them from themselves sometimes. He requires 100% supervision, if I can't see him he is getting into trouble lol Not Kidding
I am sure. My dog takes almost constant supervision.

They can eat pretty much anything, they are omnivores. The fruits and veggies he has to have on a daily basis

I know in the state of Ohio you can get a pet fox. Loki here is in Florida. I'm sure if you looked up your own state you could figure out if yours allows it.
PS If you're in California, I can already tell you- no. You can't even have a ferret. :( (source: am from California)
Cruel to keep an animal such as that in captivity .......
It's his pet, mate, it's taken good care of and is living a happy life with its owner. It's not like having a polar bear live in a 5 meter deep hole in the ground where every surface is made of concrete, he's given tons of love and affection as well as a shit-load of space.
Loki cannot be in the wild because he comes from generations of captive foxes. He was rescued from a fur farm before given his home. Don't judge without having the facts
Better to be well taken care of in captivity than to be a pelt on some rich douchebag's back!
