Yes it's a good idea if you want top tier, just note that this tank lacks armour but has a good round and sights so it's for sniping if it's your playstyle

T-72AV is better because it has Termals and the T-80UD doesn’t have Termals

so basically, with the T-80UD u can eat like 6 shells (from experience) it also has really good armor, on the other hand the T-72AV has thermals, so it depends what you like more, aggressive gameplay or camping (T-80UD for agressive, T72AV for camping)
