Hey Tim, big fan here from the Philippines, why are you so fluent in speaking Spanish? They're basically the same words here in PI except maybe for the spelling. You pronounce them like you're Pinoy hahaha, words like "mercado, sapatos, banyo etc" it feels like PI. I guess being colonized by Spain isn't all that bad lol. Take care man!

The red bananas i tried are usually more sweet than a regular consumer chiquita bananas, when i get the chance to buy red imported bananas in Denmark. In Thailand atm, and there they have some really small yellow bananas which are really sweet. They Are great for a bananas roti with Nutella :) hopefully i get to Philippines some day cause Tim and harolds videos showed a lot of Nice places.

Gringo, at least in Central America, doesn't mean white it means someone from the United States. To answer your question, the Gringos are usually at the luxury hotels, and not at the street markets. There are white Guatemalans(Juan Guillermo Gutierrez, Mario Alberto Carrera, Alida Boer, Stephanie Zelaya, etc.), black Guatemalans(Marvin Avila, Colman Domingo, etc.), indigenous Guatemalans(Rigoberta Menchu, Sara Curruchich, Maria Mercedes Coroy, , etc.) mestizo Guatemalans(Arturo Castro, Jimmy Morales, Javier Payeras, etc.), Arab Guatemalans(Jorge Abed, Moufeid Massis, etc.), and even Asian Guatemalans(Cristian Kim). The women in traditional dresses are indigenas/indigenous Guatemalans which you might call Native American in your country. You should check out the coast to explore the Afro-Guatemalan experience. Sorry to get all "progressive Shannon" on you, but the whole U.S. notion of Latinos somehow being a race, is a pet peeve of mine. Keep up the good work!

A paradise for vegan/vegetarian people. All this fresh fruit and spices! Also, fruit there tastes a lot better than those in our supermarkets.
