Go with a house. These high end high rise units are extremely hard to sell. For over a million dollars people expect a very large front and backyard , driveway, multiple garage and their own personal pool in Houston.
That traffic in the Galleria Area is horrendous! The commute in the morning and after work is like nothing you never seen so leave at least an hour or two before so that gives you time to get to where you going on time.

Actually that condo would be a good investment I’m sure as Houston gets bigger the price will go up in a few years and that’s definitely something he’d sale as his money and status grows
@@Coloradobuffsomg Sure, a condo has value but a home usually grows in value faster than a condo will. Condos have less land and that = less value, too.
@@Coloradobuffsomg the higher supply of condos will drive the price down, so if Houston adds more condos it really is a bad thing when it comes to an investment

Save your money. Rent something regular sized and bank the rest. Your place is just to store your stuff and sleep. As a rookie your goal is to be good enough to stay and get a big time contract. So you should be in the gym or arena most of the time practicing and training.
He could get a mansion for less than the townhomes/condos but I understand not wanting have to make sure grass is cut etc since he'll be travelling a lot. Still wish she would have showed one mansion for fun.
For Amen he probably just going to have to get some apartments downtown close to the Toyota Center easier for him to get to the building for practice and home games and he doesn’t have to deal with the traffic.
@@davidchandler6885 I mean Houston is fine of course there certain areas where the crime is bad. But for Amen unless he probably has a place near downtown where it’s mostly safe
Making all that money and didn’t show him one actual house just apartment high rises and a townhome with 1000 stairs to go up and down 😂. He could get a really nice house for $1M, but sounds like he likes living in the bush city. Couldn’t be me 😂
Don’t be like Allen iverson and Antoine walker who blew up their career earnings. Walker is renting a mobile home in Kentucky while iverson can’t afford to buy cheeseburger for his kids .
tbh for that money he can get an actual house, they got some close to downtown in River Oaks and they got some not too far at Bellaire, West U and the Rice University area.

The Houston homes this realtor showed look much more aligned with what a rookie in a new city would want than in Detroit.
Unfortunately downtown Detroit is still not done being gentrified and developed so not as many luxury living options as Houston.
@julioescobar8872 true, imagine being a young rookie in Detroit 😂
