Man, this is 10 years old and probably from an almost urehearsed jam like situation. Kurt plays like nobodys business. Strong, long melodic lines, great time and flow. Wow, this is great.

Nice! I love the face of the bass player! He still aware and seems to say" differents harmonic ways are falling like rain, kurt please don't go so far...i can stop that beautiful fucking rain"

So he acutaly improvises by singing and playing each note at the same time! Damn thats sick! Its amazing that a human can actually do that!

I don't actually think it's so weird a human can do that. First of all, when you're improvising, whether that is guitar or singing, you're always imagining the notes in your head before you play them. Therefore, it's only a matter of synchronising your voice with your fingers. So long as you're not playing Holdsworth speed or going outside your vocal range, singing over your impro on a finger/hand based instrument should only be about 10-20% more effort. I'm just assuming you have a voice, because if you call yourself a musician and can't at least sing in tune, then I've got some bad news (disclaimer: if you've got throat disease or had surgery you're off the hook, but seriously).
I mean this in the least pretentious way. I've been playing jazz for 15 years, and I honestly believe anyone can learn to improvise, and your voice is the most basic yet complex instrument you have; an essential part of great musicianship, which the brain just so happens to be very good at using.

This is a good tempo - a little slower than some others play it, but the tune is able to breathe a bit more.
