I still don't get why people didn't think hockey wouldn't work here. Vegas has always loved hockey going back AT LEAST to the LV Thunder Years and into the Wrangler years. Also, we had the first ever outdoor game during a preseason game between the Kings and the Rangers on a warm September night at Cesar's Palace way back in 1990.
Rinks Around the League to be honest you’d think buffalo would have better attendance given that there in a traditional market they some good players have come out of buffalo Patrick Kain for example and there on the Canadian border. Are the sabres missing something true most fans across the river are leafs fans but still i don’t know why that market struggles they do have fans when they had the winter classic at Ralph Wilson stadium that was a great crowd it’s getting them to games night in night out
I keep bugging them to let me do an episode and visit the rink right now but I guess they're not interested. Maybe when/if I reach 100,000 subscribers they'll take me seriously.
Nope. Think about before the Golden Knights. Why hadn't any Pro sports team actually move or stick in Vegas? There's too much to do. I'm sure many thought pro sports would play a minor role when compared to the entertainment in that city. But the success of the Knights just proves that it can stick...it proved most of us all wrong!
@@_TheRinks being a native and 40 years old, we have been waiting for a pro sport franchise FOREVER. Granted everyone was hoping NFL first but I digress. The reason it took so damn long to get here is do to gambling plain and simple. Back in the day all pro leagues detested gambling and thus they stayed away. It took the NHL to finally give us a chance and the rest, as they say, is history. How will things go when the team inevitably has down years? Well, we know the Raiders are going to suck for a few more years and they will do fine, same goes for the Knights. On a bit more of a sombre note, you also have to add in the fact that the Knights helped this amazing city get through the worst mass shooting in our countries history. The way the team, from the owner down to the players, even being new to the city, were out and about voulentering themselves to do whatever they could as well as giving us a few hours of escape and happiness during the aftermath and I can assure you that they will always be our REAL Veags team (sorry Raiders) and will always have a strong and loyal fanbase that will show up even if they are not playing well.
The best channel on RUclips
Thanks a bunch!
I was waiting for this! Love the vid

Rinks Around the League ok I will watch it
Funny that you said they wanted a venue in the city seeing as how the arena, just like the entire strip, is not even in LAS VEGAS proper.
I’ll be honest we’ll see if this lasts if they can stay loyal during down years
Yeah I'm still a little skeptical to, but let's be honest they'll still have bigger crowds than Florida, Arizona, buffalo...

Not sure. I've been getting a lot of very passionate Buffalo fans but like I said in my video every time I've been there it's a small crowd. So dunno?
Rinks Around the League I think they got to find a way to get those fans into the building whether it be winning or what
panthers will probably go down way before the knights
u deserve more subs
Thanks for the comment. tell some friends! haha
Do Key Arena at Seattle Center
lol

Rinks Around the League no way! Send them a sizzle reel. Your production value is high and informative
The Kings used to play one preseason game there I think
PG13hockeyman yup they did! It was actually an outdoor game back in 1991. The ice looked absolutely horrible!
Rinks Around the League could you help me with something?
no vegas played a home game in la
For sure, head over to Twitter and DM me, notifications and comments seem to be inconsistent on RUclips.@@PG13hockeyman
Rinks Around the League ok
You actually didn't think hockey (or any sport) would survive in Las Vegas?
