As much as i like Hans Zimmer,Howard Shore,Danny Elfman and Alan Silvestri my two favorite film composers of all time are John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith...just all their scores so damn great and memorable for me
Another great score from John Williams. Parts of this soundtrack remind me of "The Towering Inferno", which is not surprising since both movies came out in the same year.
And then, Stewart Graf (Charton Heston) comes jogging down the road, hehe :D Remy: "DAMN IT !" Stewart: Your last words last night. The very same words you greet me with, this morning. DON'T YOU THINK YOU OUGHTA DO SOMETHING ABOUT EXPANDING YOUR VOCABULARY?! [Later on during the scene] Remy: YA KNOW, IF IT WASN'T 7:30 IN THE MORNING, I WOULD HAVE A DRINK ! Stewart: I didn't know you were a clock-watcher. [BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA !]

I SAW THIS MOVIE IN HOLLYWOOD ! Before you enter the theater, the city is as normal. During the movie, the same city gets destroyed. After you exit the theater, the same city is all built up again. Hehehehe. That was a trip.
This is a great movie because they had a special set of speakers that they put in the separate corners of the theater... When the earthquake happened you could actually steal everything shaking and you are very very very,,,,, scared. Except if you are from California.lol
@@wllm4785Also THE Music IN ..............Sensurround stereo. Oh what a time to live. I was 15. Thank you Jehovah for letting me live this long and had seen GREAT movies like this in the theater AND THE MUSIC!!!!

This is the epitome of 70's Disaster movie music. Love early John Williams
Sure is. This song still has that same ominous feel to it as it did when I was 5.

where can buy the score from earthquake?
I would check either eBay or discogs.com. Varese Sarabande released it on CD in 2011, but it's probably out of print now.
australian football should be played dans les usa est europe
Memorable disaster of a Movie
El sonido me recuerda a la madrugada del 27/F de 2010, terremoto 8.8 en Chile.
埋もれてほしくない、名曲だと思います。
