whether Ken wins or loses he will always be a legend for him even to step in the ring knowing he's not in his prime shows he has a heart as tuff as nails
You're right man. That was EliteXC's plan to keep matching him against nobodies to make him look like this monster but we all saw what happened when faced against a lower totem pole fighter in James Thompson, who had minimal ground skills. Now, Lesnar is a monster. I didn't know he was fighting again but I'll look it up.
Regardlesss of age Ken was in shape last time i had seen him fight but Tito just took advantage of him by quickly taking him down and pounding on him till he couldn't block anymore so we didn't get to see much. If Ken lets Kimbo hit him from a stand up then were going to get the same results but i'd like to see the fight
Im a HUGE Kimbo Slice fan and I dont know why alot of post here try to compare him to the Great MMA Top Tier fights...He never said that he could beat everyone in the MMA world, however he did say that he "Wouldn't backdown from a fight", and you gotta respect that...There's nobody in the MMA world that would say that they would backdown from any fight...I however do wanna see him fight someone with skills in order to set a benchmark for him
The only chance The Iceman has to keep from shattering at the hands of a brawler like Slice is if Chucky throws his mean headbutts to Kimbo's fists. Chuck Liddell don't want it with Kimbo. If Rampage has his number, its only a matter of time before Slice gives Chucky the conference call to Fist City.
he is getting better bas is working him good. with thompson, he went to the late second round before he really got winded. before, you are right, after a couple of minutes, he was spent.
He doesn't go for a takedown because he no longer has the strength or desire to fight the way he once did. If you watch some of the previous highlight videos, he was a completely different person 10 or so years ago.
In the Tank Abbott fight we saw what happened when Tank tried to take it to the floor..... Now the question is how well can he adjust against a younger well rounded opponent like an Ortiz or a Rampage? I think it is just a matter of time before a guy Kimbo gets his ground game together...He trains like an a beast, he's hungry.... with just little bit of knowlege and combination of the two he has already proven that he is dangerous. Ortiz, anybody for that matter in mma would have problems
If ken gets caught with one of those punches he might lose but kens, like you said, an all-round fighter. Kens been in many wars and win or lose it would be an interesting fight. I think with enough training kimbo could be a great fighter.
Im getting a bit old now but, still got heavy hands may be TKO in the 1st as long as i cover and move, don't think he would like my leg kicks either..........
yea that's true even though kimbo came out the victor in that one, but you think he's not gonna train harder for his next fight or even at all knowing he was in there huffing and puffing at the end...
Kimbo is extremely exciting to watch fight, the man is very raw and an impressive puncher as well, his hooks are very powerful for an MMA fighter, most dont know how or refuse to put there weight behind a punch like Boxer would, Kimbo does, and as you could see by his last couple matches, it's been working for him. Kimbo/Fedor would be one hell of a match, Kimbo has the advantage in the air, while Fedor is best suited in his ground game, that's a 50/50 IMO.
@Sodiumreactor Tyson was good puncher but he was also skilled and that takes a lot of practice and dedication. Just because someone can knock a guy out in some backyard brawl doesn't mean he will excel in fighting ie. MMA. What happens when the punching power doesn't work? fight over
dont forget that kimbo is training with one of teh best mma fighter of all times. Kimbo vs rampage jackson, that could be a challenge, but kimbo vs borck lesnar would be a good fight too. Kimbo vs Shamrock it is going to continue this "Kimbo fight losers or oldmans" logo.
How can anyone slam a new, inexperienced and still UNDEFEATED fighter like Kimbo? Most people forget to mention that Bas Rutten is Kimbo's trainer. I bet we see Kimbo with some wicked ground skills during the Shamrock match.
ken is giving kimbo credit saying he is big and as tough as nails. Even if shamrocks best days are behind him which they are he is still a fucking legend in the ring. So for a legend to credit kimbo it says something. As for who would win, I gotta go with kimbo cuz he has strength and age on his side.
@BillyBones541standup Thanks buddy, yeah,i watched the fight with Seth,he got Kimbo pretty quick...i'd like to see a rematch as we know anything can happen in these fight's!
@chrisis138 Tyson was a street fighter. Dont you remember? He came from the streets. He was in his early 20s, didnt have a whole lot of skill back then. Just crazy heavy hands. Kimbos got the hands. He just need some experience. I think he would make a great boxer. Time will tell.
This is going to be awesome. Everyone set your VCRs, you know this is the fight we wanted to see!
Yet 2 years later, the fight was never spoken about again. Too bad, I would love to see it!
whether Ken wins or loses he will always be a legend for him even to step in the ring knowing he's not in his prime shows he has a heart as tuff as nails

Royce Gracie sorry on spelling, watch some u tube videos on him noobie mma guys
any lightweight can beat any heavyweight, it's not about how heavy you are, it's about how well you fight
kimbo and shamrock have signed a contract to fight on oct. 4th!!!
you gotta admit though those backyard fights are awesome
Regardlesss of age Ken was in shape last time i had seen him fight but Tito just took advantage of him by quickly taking him down and pounding on him till he couldn't block anymore so we didn't get to see much. If Ken lets Kimbo hit him from a stand up then were going to get the same results but i'd like to see the fight
I never saw the fight. Who won it?
Is kimbo heavyweight or light heavyweight?

I love how he has this hidden smile all over his face because he is like Easy Win hahahahaha
this was posted in 2008 meaning the fight was meant to be last year
i love how Shamrock always makes himself out to be the David in these David vs Goliath fights
Next week live and free! :D

Tell me the date when they will fight each other. Only this talking about what could be is boring me... ;)
Who's next for Kimbo after Ken, Kimo?
porque mierda no esta la pelea en ningun lado?
what do you mean? why is the mma in trouble?
yeah your right, shamrock got cut in training before the fight i think, or had some kind of injury that didnt allow him to fight.
i remeber watching ken shamrock in wwf
You forgot bout heart man. The will to go on is stronger then any training.
@Galaron28 well its not the ufc is it? it is IFL
it is happening saturday and is going to be live on cbs

who won?
who won that fight..and how?
who win the fight ?
why?
Who will?
he is getting better bas is working him good. with thompson, he went to the late second round before he really got winded. before, you are right, after a couple of minutes, he was spent.
His bio says nothing 'bout that on Wikki...did the catch wrestling I spoke of throw you off or something?
He doesn't go for a takedown because he no longer has the strength or desire to fight the way he once did. If you watch some of the previous highlight videos, he was a completely different person 10 or so years ago.
Whos taking his place? I didn't get the name.
In the Tank Abbott fight we saw what happened when Tank tried to take it to the floor..... yup
quem eh vc pra representar o brasil??
love how if u put kimbo's name on your video its guarenteed over a million hits
If ken gets caught with one of those punches he might lose but kens, like you said, an all-round fighter. Kens been in many wars and win or lose it would be an interesting fight. I think with enough training kimbo could be a great fighter.
this is going to be a good fight
Im getting a bit old now but, still got heavy hands may be TKO in the 1st as long as i cover and move, don't think he would like my leg kicks either..........
why thank you,I try
A: What, when was Ken Shamrock in the WWF/WWE?
@closer16 man...you really should watch ken fights when he was young...he was a beeast back then
I am with what the guy at 1:18 said.
But you just don't wanna see Kimbo win then, right? What do you have against the guy?
agreed
What did I tell you?
yeah this guy was on WWF
yea that's true even though kimbo came out the victor in that one, but you think he's not gonna train harder for his next fight or even at all knowing he was in there huffing and puffing at the end...

did they fight yet?
Yep..
this fight is gonna happen in elite xc yeah?
dont forget that kimbo is training with one of teh best mma fighter of all times.
Kimbo vs rampage jackson, that could be a challenge, but kimbo vs borck lesnar would be a good fight too.
Kimbo vs Shamrock it is going to continue this "Kimbo fight losers or oldmans" logo.
I'm not saying Kimbo is a complete MMA fighter by any means, but in what shape, way, or form could Ken pull off a win in this fight?
Is this actually going to happen?
How can anyone slam a new, inexperienced and still UNDEFEATED fighter like Kimbo?
Most people forget to mention that Bas Rutten is Kimbo's trainer. I bet we see Kimbo with some wicked ground skills during the Shamrock match.
im goin to train in ken shamrocks gym
Kimbo needs to go into boxing. He would be an awesome boxer! He probably got offered alot more money to come to UFC. Hopefully he gets into boxing.
Is this fight ever going to happen? has Kimbo quit UFC????
ken is giving kimbo credit saying he is big and as tough as nails. Even if shamrocks best days are behind him which they are he is still a fucking legend in the ring. So for a legend to credit kimbo it says something.
As for who would win, I gotta go with kimbo cuz he has strength and age on his side.
@IranianPride09
well I can already negate that point with GSP slamming koshek like nothing without any wrestling exp..
@BillyBones541standup Thanks buddy, yeah,i watched the fight with Seth,he got Kimbo pretty quick...i'd like to see a rematch as we know anything can happen in these fight's!
So what makes you think, kimbo will win?
Now was this interview BEFORE Ken lost to "Buzz"? I was really pulling for Ken in that fight... :-/
Ken, your a Legend!!!
"lest", "there is where", "lololol"...awesome.
Did I see right? Did kimbo NOT touch gloves at the beginning? It looked like Seth held his hand out and kimbo just backed away.
me too!
