I gave up on magic bags. I got some great ones in the early days of it, but then we got fed up of the boxes not being ready and the staff bordering on rude and making you feel like you were inconveniencing them by getting them. They were a bit of a saviour for us during lockdown when my husband was on furlough though. Can really stretch your food budget.
Oh no! I’m sorry you’ve had bad experiences. It really does seem to vary from shop to shop. They must have been absolute lifesavers on Furlough, they are definitely making my maternity budget stretch further xx
Me too. I actually complained about the bags I got as they mostly use by dates rather than best before when they should be the other way round. Yes I know its cheap but it's not reducing food waste if you receive the bag at 9pm and the food is all use by the date you receive it and its meat and dairy ie stuff you can't mess about with if you are immune compromised. If I got your first bag I think I would have stuck with it.
These bags are great! And I'm glad he made you up a bag rather than not get them, well done morrisons. You're right about the potatoes being helpful for people with issues with their hands. Peeling veg, specially potatoes is the hardest thing for me, I should buy these more often xx
I remember you saying in a few videos that you struggled with peeling and chopping so I thought of you when I saw them in the bag. They must make such a difference! Xx
@Mum Things they really do, still hard to chop but take away the need for peeling and that's most of the problem gone!! The only thing I find is they are not my king Edward's, which I love and they don't last very long, so I just need to be organised when I order them but thank you for reminding me of them, we haven't had them for ages! Xx
I've only just started using this app after my food shop budget had to be reduced, Aldis are really good, and I managed to get a weeks worth of food with the ones from one stop as I was able to put most of it in the freezer x
Starbucks bag had £15 for £4 plant based breakfast roll steak panini almond cake and a beautiful chocolate muffin I love these bags it’s fun to see what’s in them
It really depends on the individual store I think. Ooh I bet Greggs is awesome! We don’t have one near us unfortunately but there is a Subway I keep trying to catch xx
@Mum Things I found that with greggs also, the drive through one near me is amazing but the shop one at a slightly further location is what you would expect but for what we pay I deffo don't complain. It's a amazing app for sure 👌
After seeing this I used too good to go app. Went to M& S and another takeaway. It hardly had anything. Maybe because, as you said. These are locals. Location Liverpool St London
You are adorable. I love your positivity.
Haha thank you! I try xx

I have just paid 80p for a plastic bag at Morrisons 2024 that was once free the it was 10p then it was 30p and now it is 80p unbelievable
Wow I had no idea they had gone up that much! I try and avoid buying them where I can but sometimes it's unavoidable isn't it xx
Good deal there Claire x x
Yes they really were generous. I just hate the thought of all that ending up in the bin! Xx
Great bags xx
