This happened to me one summer, and every single A/C company I called told me they were swamped with calls and it would take a few days. I was so upset, I told the girl on the phone I had an English bully and was afraid he would start having breathing problems. Less than an hour later, 2 guys were at the door. They said they were sent out "to save the bully". They fixed the air lickity split, then threw themselves down on my floor and played with Mugsy for 30 minutes. All was well.

Our unit went out 4 yrs ago this month it was hot I live in long beach Mississippi on the coast! Me my shih tzu domyno and my mom and dad went to a hotel 4 four days until it was fixed!! Rue I felt your pain buddy! GODBLESS

Ahhhhhhh all that unbearable suffering in the sweltering heat and waiting for an eternity for the professional AC man to come was well worth it. My own personal ice cream hit the spot and made all that unpleasantness just a memory. Thank you loyal subjects for treating me. I went through this in the middle of summer when I lived in AZ. I had to stay with my brother for two days. Nothing cools your place down in 110 degree heat. Roo needed the cooling vest for dogs. The poor pooch looked miserable. I kept thinking give him some ice cream, bravo Mike! Roo’s like, I should of been taken to a hotel “I’m famous”!
Reuben is a DIY kinda guy. (My cousin and his wife moved to FL and they both have asthma. They bought an emergency window unit just in case their central air went out and they had to wait for a repair person).
