We had the exact conversation about where to live (childfree, dog owning in our 30s) - we moved from central london to Brighton earlier this year and it was the best thing we’ve ever done. Has all the benefits of a city and the country ❤
So so sorry for your bad experience in July x It is in the past now and you now have many lovely things to look forward to!! It's a positive that you can talk about it and you have your lovely partner who is always a support for you x
Yes to smaller homes 😁!! Also Less cleaning 😂 I would also love another loo and maybe a 3rd bedroom but i'm in no rush! Currently looking at replacing our large conservatory roof with a warm roof so we can use the space all year round 🥰 I would make this new space a dining room/living space and put an island in our kitchen as me and my husband rarely eat at the dining table 😅 i'm so excited and also excited to see where you both end up ❤ come to cambridgeshire!! Norwich is lovely too 😁xx
Really enjoyed this format, guys! ☺As someone a little older lol (37), I somewhat regret not moving further afield and having those experiences that you were talking about as now my parents are rapidly approaching 70 and are at the stage in life where they do need a little extra support from time to time from their kids, y'know? So I've missed the boat, for now at least. I do not begrudge that, I'm just saying that in retrospect, I think I would have gone for it! Also; YES to smaller houses! 🙌 I never quite feel cosy in larger houses, no matter how lovely they are. Smaller houses are just... warmer? LOL. 🤷♀
I really enjoyed listening to this conversation over dinner Toby & Mikey. Your meal looked so good. I would love to live in the countryside & hope one day I can make it happen. Life & work have been so busy lately, I can't believe we're not too far from Autumn. Thank you for letting us join you for dinner. You're so wonderful together ❤x
Thank you for letting us join you both for dinner 😊, I really enjoyed this, the meal looked delicious & it was so nice and relaxing listening to you both chat. Thanks for sharing ❤x
Hiya it’s me again. Huge relief your not selling the cottage. Absolutely brilliant video love a Toby & Mikey chat. You fellas go for it ,if you do decide to move. What a treat for a Sunday morning. Love it. I’ll leave you now as I need to play with my cat. Have a great week. Ps your lunch looks beautiful.
I enjoy your channel for sometime now. I adore you both. Love when you go shopping. I'm in North Carolina in the US and love seeing your stores and communities. I am a female in my 60s and ADHD. My next door neighbor who was a psychiatrist told me off the record and a layman's way to indicate you may be ADHD is how caffeine affects you. Does it ever keep you from sleeping? Does it calm you? Caffeine is a stimulant like ADHD medication but on a milder level. It has the opposite effect on those of us who are ADHD than someone without it. Dark Roast Coffee helps me sleep and I drink it when I wake up in the middle of the night and can't sleep. It knocks me out. ADHD medication calms us ADHD folks so we can think better. It stimulates non ADHD people. It's why it's abused. Same with cocaine which I've never taken. Robin Williams the comedian, said in his cocaine days that he wanted to do his checkbook and chill out. Some parents give their children Mountain Dew or coffee to their children in the morning to extend the day or in place of ADHD medication if they are opposed to it. ADHD is not a disorder, it's a difference in neurological make up, tends to be genetic. A large number of artistic and creative people are ADHD. Many positive traits. I could go on and on. Google: Mountain Dew (has a lot of caffeine) and/or coffee/caffeine/caffeine and ADHD; Mountain Dew and ADHD children. Luckily there is a lot of info out there now. When I tried to get tested in my 40s, the prevailing thought was that females didn't get/have ADHD. I was relieved when my neighbor told me about caffeine. That was 20 years ago. Good Luck😊
Hello, wow that's so interesting! I would love to try this, but I'm actually intolerant to caffeine!! But that sounds really worth trying. thank you xx
You may be experiencing migraines from flavour enhancement used in some of the sauces you are using. Check the labels and make a note of what you ate prior to your migraine. I lived in Asia for 25 years and I was very aware of this problem.
Move the Chester. Small city, close to other big cities. North of the country and in many ways completely different and also property prices are not crazy... Might be too far from your families though
Oh my god….. am I only one that the sound of the knives & Forks scrapping off the plates grated on me and went straight through me. The sound was awful. 🙈 lol
Such a lovely couple. And so happy for you both in sharing your plans or adventures xx ❤️
Thanks so much! 😊 and thanks for being here xx
