Praise God as this matches what our pioneers taught, including Uriah Smith's book, "Daniel and the Revelation". I pray the church will all be preaching the same message so we can fulfill the prayer of Christ for unification.
One thing we must understand is that whatever the position that our pioneers held is not necessarily infallible. They grew in their understanding of the biblical truths just as we should. Bible should be our standard for truth, not tradition.

Here are a few excerpts: , “Especially should the book Daniel and the Revelation be brought before people… this book contains the message which all need to read and understand, … Those who embrace the truth now, who have not shared in the experiences of those who entered the work in the early history of the message, should study the instruction given in Daniel and the Revelation, becoming familiar with the TRUTH it presents…. I have been living in a country where the SDA church worships on Sunday. When I approached them, the Divison of the church there gave me the excuse that this is so , because of the Dateline that runs near there. Their contry's calender starts with Monday making sabbath on the 7th day. However, now they have the normal calender that begins the week with Sunday, making Saturday as the 7th day..
Satan is confusing your mind, read the bible asking the holy spirit into your heart for true interpretation...and do not get off on little factions meant to dishonour your heart, beleive in the body of the church and your elders to help you keep from going off on tangants and going your own way.

Another place she states that the earth made new will be like an immense plane. So my question is if He created the earth to begin with as a sphere, but the earth made new is as a plane, then it would seem to me that He plans to change its original design. Some may argue the idea that this particular topic has nothing to do with salvation. And a hundred years ago that does seem to be the case, judging by some other comments that Mrs, White made. However what about now? Many people seem to believe in the idea that the world came from a big bang. In order to believe that the world reflects the Big Bang Theory...one would also have to believe that the earth was spherical in shape , wouldn't they? I am only thinking out loud. Could it be that Satan has attempted to falsify everything? I can imagine that. I do know one thing God does not definitively describe everything He has done. And one other thing is true that ungodly men become angry , when they discover that God does indeed have boundaries. When someone states that the sun is 93,000,000 miles away, my mind automatically thinks to itself how did they figure that immense number out? And my next thought is ....Did anyone actually figure that out? I am not saying that God can not or did not make those distances so vastly far away, nor am I saying that He did. What I am saying is that I am an independent thinker , and some of the things that ungodly men say about the nature of things I have a difficult time believing. But if it is in scripture and the spirit of prophecy I have a very easy time believing it.
7:36 Christ died on the preparation for a “high Sabbath”, it was not the weekly Sabbath. This way the full three days/nights occurred… the Word is perfect. I wish our understanding was.
It was the weekly Sabbath. The previous day it talks about the 6 day of the week the Preparation day, the Sabbath drew on, Sabbath begins at sundown Friday, ends sundown Saturday. It was not the ceremonial sabbath days, which were controlled by the New Moon, yearly, on different days of the week. When Jesus was crucified, that ended the feast days, meat and drink offerings , offering of Lambs as a Sacrifice, Jesus fulfilled all these things. Jesus rested in the tomb per the Commandment.
Based on creation days in Genesis, the evening and morning is a day. Therefore, evening comes before morning. The day begins from sunset the day prior and continues the next day until sunset again. That being said, Friday would have started at sunset on our current Thursday

We don't spiritualize everything. There are portions of the Bible that we take literally and there are other portions of the Bible which are symbolic in nature like the apocalyptic prophecies of Daniel and Revelation. We don't find a lion with eagle's wings or a leopard with four wings in reality. These are obviously meant to be taking as symbolic. So are the prophecies of Revelation 9. 144,000 are those living when Jesus comes. They endured persecution. They had the seal of the living God. They refused the mark of the beast, therefore being undefiled with woman.
They didn't defile themself with woman. They had the seal of God. They refused to defile themselves with Babylon. Since the woman represents the church, it was the church with the false worship of Sunday instead of 7th day Sabbath of God.

I believe that we are round shaped but it is flat , spread out like curtains .. 9:16 the very next verse after the 12,000 of each tribe are called out, John describes the countless people from all nations etc…praising God. So, the 144000 are the special seals that attend Christ, just as the other mention of the number says. The multitude of people are the others that are saved but don’t attend Christ everywhere he goes.
The multitude are the group of people, the special resurrection, people that died during the time of the 3 Angels Messages, they will stand with the 144,000, not part of the 144,000. Also part of the special resurrection will be those that pierced Jesus at the Crucifixion. Jesus told them that that they would see Him coming in the clouds, to prove to them that He was really Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Matthew 26: 63, 64.

For only 144,000 to be redeemed from all man (as implied by Mark F) is a bit dark. What are the three angels and where are they in the scriptures?
Who cares if it's flat or round, it's gonna burn and be made new again, question is do we wanna burn with it, cause we aint gonna be made new with it then.
There were only 8 people saved in the ark, so 144, 000 is the literal number. Most of the saints will be sleeping. The way the world is going people are dying in large numbers in war, sickness, violence etc. God was specific with the number and the sleeping saints were unlimited.

God wishes all to be saved and not be lost forever. He will do everything he can to save each one of us.
