All rollercoasters should have soundtracks from now on. It just enhances the experience. I have experienced three different songs in this ride and each song gave a different vibe/ride experience.
If it's not a big enough pool of songs it might get boring also you might not like the song

@@joeclark6413I have rode rides 8 times over with one song never mind 6 I haven’t gotten bored, plus if you don’t like the song then it doesn’t cause a big deal, it just has the same effect on you as not having music which is most roller coasters. Music brings nothing but positives and immersion to rides

This new ride invention is completely awesome unique on so many levels even the backward launch, I thoroughly enjoyed this new experience but for guys it must of been that extra special meeting your expectations as well, I know it’s not the same virtually POV as it is on an actual riding experience over all the pre show was brilliant, queue lines were fabulous as well as the entire heavy interesting amazing theming exhibitions throughout, I definitely agree with you Shawn which you were rightfully forever mentioning how Epcot needed to have an indoor rollercoaster 🎢. I’m glad they’ve made this amazing new ride, well done with your first day disney vlog, looking forward to the next few days of you epic adventures
My daughter and I were there last month, we rode it 8 times! Loved it!! Also, Disney Magic…we got all 6 songs in our first 6 rides 🍾🍾🍾

Guardians is in our top 3 rides of this trip, Rise & Velocicoaster being the others. We got on Guardians a couple times and really liked the whole experience. The ride being really smooth, shows some of the others as being a bit clunky. Look forward to watching the rest of your vlogs from this trip, sadly our last day in Orlando today! Hope you enjoyed Velocicoaster last night, it was my wife Sharon waving maniacally at you guys in the queue, she recognised Charlotte straight away!

Awesome stuff Shawn and Charlotte. Fantastic pre-show those special effects are amazing. The build quality of the ride is second to none and the station one of the best I have ever seen. The ride itself looks amazing kind of in “Space Mountain” vein. When the walls disappeared I thought it reminded me of Poseidon’s Fury too. Well done guys and enjoy yourselves 👍😉

I am blown away by the EPIC scale of that ride.
I must admit Disney have Excelled themselves, every attention to detail was outstanding.
From entering the building all the way through to the pre show was fantastic.
The designer's should give themselves a massive pat on the back. Definitely a ride to draw in the crowd's .

I love this ride so much...didn't have a second day at epcot in my itinerary but we did seaworld in an evening at howl o scream and had a spare day so I booked epcot and got in the virtual queue. It's such a fun ride.
Did this on my first day out there and thought it was a stunning attraction. One of my favourites indoor coasters!
Cosmic rewind looks cool with the music and stuff the conga song looks like the best
Rode this twice in summer, it's such a fun ride and a world class experience! Coaster really fun and intense in the middle section and the music makes it 😍

This ride looks so immense. The queue looks great. Due to my hearing loss I couldn't hear the sound track but I'm sure that it would have been superb. I think that the shop is small too and I agree with you Shawn that a t-shirt with a picture of the coaster would have sold well. Overall it looks amazing!

Great first video of your USA 🇺🇸 Florida trip Shawn and Charlotte. Photos and videos do not do that ride justice, as soon you enter the queue, you’re fully immersed into the storyline of the attraction. The queue line is very impressive, the pre show again very impressive and the ride itself amazing. Well done 👏🏻 Disney for creating an amazing immersive attraction. I’d love to experience this attraction one day

two other vloggers, who also loved the ride, in their YT vids, said, as you did at 24:00, the cars do not completely rotate (spin, lie tea cups) but rotate quickly thru about 300 (out of full 360) degrees. Great vid. glad you enjoyed it.

We did this 4 times on our recent trip, if you'd have gotten the 7am virtual queue its definitely not straight through to the pre show, the queue at times was streaking way out back into the first large room with the overhead projection show with around a 35/40 minute wait, which makes me wonder how much outside space they will need for the standby queue whenever that comes into place.
Nice to see a step up in editing cutting to shots from the POV in the review 👍 keep it up. Very much a fan of you guys at this point! It's like being on holiday with you. Need a third member of TPW? 😅

Great as always, looks like you were so lucky, we went middle of august and we got a virtual queue for 8:30pm that was from 1:03pm 🤣. And then we had to queue from lower level where the projection was on roof all the way around was around 1 hour 20 mins. Was an amazing ride though well well well worth the wait, now I have come back to all the rubbish uk rides 🥺. Have a great rest of your trip you 2.

Really great merge of the overall educational Epcot theme with the Guardians IP. Learning about the Xandarian homeworld and people while also including the adventures and the great music you expect from the Guardians of the Galaxy. Can't wait to get on this one!

I think the reason why the merchandise gift shop is so small is because the ride itself has probably taken up that much room that there is only a small amount of space left for a gift shop.
But the ride itself is very impressive to look at i must admit.
And obviously they have limited space for this new attraction & shop.
Looks awesome! The pre-show looked fantastic too and added to the experience I would imagine. I would have liked September as my music as it's a great track.. one question was the launch that quick or did you edit as other videos I've seen seem to have additional dialogue and a pause before the backwards launch. Have fun in Florida!
I edited the POV as some parts were very dark!
They have the extra dialogue and pause if the previous block section hasn't cleared
@@kylem2755 I've seen the extra dialogue with pause (when other blocks not flagged as 'clear') on another video and that's not what I'm referring to. It's the dialogue at the point where the seats are turning ready for the backwards launch seemed shorter than other videos I've seen. I think Shawn might have answered my question when he said he edited it due to parts being very dark.

Disney has been getting a lot of flack lately but this is their best ride in years I love it and it really was needed In Epcot
They deserve all of it. Especially the grief they are getting over the guardians ride in Paris. Someone had to be pocketing money to rack that build up to that cost.
I went on this during my trip this week. We had a Christmas song which I’m gutted about as I wanted September 😂 this is now my number 2 coaster (velocicoaster number 1)
They need this in paris it would be perfect in avengers campus!! We’re huge guardians fans

From video looks amazing, really immersive theming and looks wow. One day would like to fly out to America and ride this amazing attraction. Cheers for creating, filming and uploading. Hopefully if London Resort becomes a thing, this is something at this level we hopefully will see in most of its lands if not hopefully all. Just a FYI Shawn, the coaster cost a half billion dollars and with about 1 mile of track they were able to build enough brake runs to allow up to 10 trains to operate at the same time. Also originally they planned on Rocket and Groot animatronics but were dropped because of budget and will be featured on the projection mapping! Great video!

Was there luckily opening weekend and got 2 rides there was even a queue for the shop. I couldn’t stop smiling when I came off! When you see what they have done with this it highlights even more the mess they made of the refurb of the coaster in the studios of Disneyland Paris in Avengers Campus which could have been so much better and has seen very little improvement it looks like all the expense has been on the exterior.
Try the back row, it’s far more intense at that end.

Guardians is the best coaster on disney property the different songs you get each time you ride is epic. We got a lightning lane and virtual que on Tuesday all in the afternoon and it was really easy to get nowadays so quality all round 👍

I rode it last summer and in my opinion its the best disney coaster (at least in florida)
Probably, the "Tron" Coaster may challenge this one, when it finally gets built in Magic Kingdom.

This ride is awesome although I got a huge headache and it was at 7:30 and got off about 40 mins to an hour later. but it lasted like 10-15 mins, but I could still ride big thunder after sooo, I mean it’s so smooth vekoma is getting so much better. I went June 17th I think, but yeah great experience

There are rumors that GotG Cosmic Rewind is said to have cost 500 million dollars, making it the most expensive roller coaster in the world.
I can only agree that animatronics would have been nice. Originally 5 should have been planned, but thanks to Mr. Chapek these were not realized.
