Pally, hopefully you read this, to make efficient use of Apocalypse almost every time, you use it, followed by Shadow Charge and immediately Overpower the target in the Apocalypse. Learned that from NotParadox's beginner guide.
Really been enjoying the heroes content lately. I showed my friends some of your videos and managed to get them to pick up the game with me. Thank you for making that possible. : )
Couple of tips I can see being helpful: 1. Put a little bit more value in your W heal, there's times you could have better longevity in fight if you stood your ground and used it. 2. Never use apoc blind, set it up yourself with an r>q>e combo or off the back of someone elses stun, it's value is very low otherwise.
Another useful apoc combo is RQE. You apoc, then charge someone and when you e it flips them back into the apoc stun. It’s really nice when executed well but it requires practice.
Hey Pally, Diablo has an totally off meta build nobody really knows about that helped me drastically improve my win rate. Go W build Diablo with lightning breath and devils due at 1. The classic Diablo combo is dive flip then dive back. My Diablo combo is fire stomp, dive into wall, fire stomp, flip, fire stomp, then if ultimate is up lightning breath. You get massive self heals, massive spell power, and enemy damage reduction.
Yooo happy to see you get back at Diablo! To land a good Apoc you can combo it with others ults, but by your self you can hit it too. The combo is pick your target, and R+Q+E, very quickly. You don´t NEED to stun with your Q, if you do it fast you will land the Apoc in at least the target that you charge at, but obviously it's better if you stun for more damage and to ensure the cc train The tricky part is to be in Q range at the moment you hit R, because if you're not you will lose time getting in range and they will just walk out of the Apoc. Hope to see you try it out!
"Everytime I press my E, people just walk away." RIGHT?! This feeling kills so much of the fun of playing Diablo. The Dash is fidgety to get right at times. No offense Pally, but you did some aweful dashes! XD But you did some that really should have stunned to, and they did not. I WISH... that Diablos "E" had a mini-mini-mini dash implamented in it to give it just a little more range. Like, basicly just "take one quick step forward" to grab someone short of a dash.
I don't know what option it is where you can hold down q and see the "shape" of your ability, but it does show the arrow of where you'll go after charging someone. helps get those stuns.
@mfpallytime dont worry about the haters man. Dibs is very tough to get comfortable with. If you dont feel strong with the q 16, his double e is great also. Sets up eeaassyy body blocks! His biggest play solo play making combo I.M.O. will be learning his open field ult set up. Being with q range, but not max. So you can r, q, then e amd set them up without a wall. Hes one of my top played! Look forward to seeing you learn him!
after you get the level 4 stacking talent, you should be stacking souls up to 80-90s. you were still going into engages with 50-something at levels 7/8, so you were way squishier than you are supposed to be. Put more emphasis on getting your souls in the early game and suddenly you'll find that you can "take" the good angle more because they can't stop you.
I was going to comment the exact same thing--early game, you're entire focus as diablo should be getting 100 souls. You had a murky and a sonya in your comp, yet you went for 2 (maybe even 3) camps early on when minions were off dying without feeding you souls. You noted late game how huge the 100 souls benefit is--it's not as obviously dramatic early game, but it's a huge advantage nonetheless. The other thing I noted is that you took the build for Q E Q combos, but tended to open with E, leaving your bonus Q on the table. Opening with E to setup a stun Q is fine with the AA build, but it's wasting a talent if you go with this build but don't combo it properly.
Hey Pallytime! Long time watching you're vids and enjoying them! Kepp up HOtS content and other amazing things you do! I know you enjoy gul'dan a lot, so try Life Drain build, it's fucking amazing for QM,whitch you play a lot.Sry for bad english, and gratz from Russia!
Have you ever tried the talent at lvl 1 that gives you back more health an mana from sippy and globes based on your souls? I tend to like that one more for getting sieged near a well, or for maps where a globe drops at objective (garden, the angel vs demon map) as i can usually grab that and a globe in lane and be almost full health again
Pally the real secret to Diablo. Don’t think about the angles as much. Just think about your tanking fundamentals holding a front. I find when I get trigger happy with Diablo I waste an ability that would win a team fight if I just waited 2 sec.
xD pallys diablo play triggers me. im sitting there like "CHARGE!!! CHARRRGGEEE!!! STOP CHARGING THE MEI!!! CHARGE THE HOGGER PEEAAALL" definitely needs to work on those charges, mei is kinda pointless to charge because any follow up damage just gets negated by her iceblock. if ya hit the hogger at least you force him to disengage
This might sound as a weird request and I will be fine if you don't do it. But, can you play DOTA 2 sometimes? Your commentary as you play spoiled me and I literally can't watch a MOBA match without missing your voice.
Both are - at least in my opinion - not fun to play against. Valeera has very easy ways of just shutting down your chararacter without any skillshots needed and can just click on you. Meis skills are all copy pasted from other characters (sometimes even ults) and made better. On top of that, no matter what you do, she can do what she wants and has way too much of escapes and selfhealing for a tank. I know other people habe different experence, but TLDR: imo they are not fun to play against and should be redesigned.
@@poiz921 I agree with this, I think Valeera needs reworked. As for Mei, I think increasing her cooldowns could help so that she is punished more for bad plays.
This game was like watching an anime. Some struggles at first but then the team came together and it was beautiful.
Ha! I love that analogy ♥️

I just commented the same thing 😂 oops
I learned from Fan though by watching him.

The Diablo Suplex. Also known as
"Get thee behind me." -Satan
Legit laughed out loud. XD thank you for the laugh

Oh and I call it “shotgun Diablo”

good to see you playing hots again!
your content is way more entertaining / interesting than of other casters'

Bruh, that fight around the 19 minute mark was so tense! My butt was clenched so hard!
Happy Pal makes me feel happy
The best Teleport combo is:
R -> Q -> E(into the R) -> Teleport -> Q into wall. Solid 5s or so stun and like 3k dps if you take the dmg talent at 7.
Love your HotS videos, Pally. keep it up! ♥
I don't know what option it is where you can hold down q and see the "shape" of your ability, but it does show the arrow of where you'll go after charging someone. helps get those stuns.
That's standard cast. Quick cast is the "just-point-and-go" he has it set to.
I am loving the daily Pally!

great timing on this video
Watching from the future - Pallies "Pro Gamer Moment" was funny and felt real. XD
DAMN, what a game. Got me up out of my seat for the last 7 minutes. Great stuff pally.

I just realized how much I kinda pocketed you, whoopsy! Still a really fun match
Edit: Wtf happened to Anduin at 20:49? Haha
At 13:32, if you get the frames right, you can see Pally went all the one down to 1hp!
13:42 even
U did good I do suggest queuing your e then q (even if not into a wall) e triggers then q again into team then start body blocking
I will always suggest the auto attack talent at level 7
Mei's kit feels insanely OP.
I constantly see lost time for skills, or incorrect casting times
Pally the real secret to Diablo. Don’t think about the angles as much. Just think about your tanking fundamentals holding a front. I find when I get trigger happy with Diablo I waste an ability that would win a team fight if I just waited 2 sec.
i recommend the stronger autoattacks con lvl 7 for the Q build!
it would be amazing if u did a battle block theater play through
love the constant content pallie!
Have my comment, good to see you Pally.
“Diablo, he’s a big ol’ burly man!”
*is playing the skin of Diablo that is canonically female*
You just standing around taking dmg with diab hurts my soul, hit things!
He’s a quick play player, don’t expect too much XD
Excellent content
love your content my man
Putzing around the edges of a team fight, Pally? Bad form for a tank.
as a Diablo main i would take Devils due and souls of flame on 1 and 4 everything else is good
Light bomb saved that game.
That diablo is a lady Pally....
Proudoyou

You're that annoying Diablo that just won't die
You try too damn hard to get a stun every single time, you dont have to force it every time, just wait for it lol
Aba and murky lol

Wiw im early
Everyone needs to just boycott playing Diablo until they make the insta-rez activatable instead of automatic.
Mei for me is like valeera. A strong character but terribly designed. So terribly designed.
how so?
