i like the real time footage showing the proper speed to avoid chipping and splintering when cross cutting, ripping and resawing.

So the lesson here is never to listen to James and make tool review videos on giant glue sticks.... obviously. 😋 I very much enjoyed the re-watch of these builds Paul, shame the algorithm didn't push it a bit more to the big screens. You do you :D

Technically you did say it made the next video blow up a bit too, which did happen 😂

Hey Paul, nice recap thanks. Minnie Me has just done a Cert III at Holmesglen in cabinet making basics and is all fired up to take over my workshop. He is banging on about messmate, meranti etc but as many of my projects start life roaming the Big Green Shed that's not going to work. Can you suggest a supplier of decent hardwood in eastern Melbourne that will deal with retail punters like me?
    Thanks
    David

Mathews Timbers out in Knoxfield (www.mathewstimber.com.au/), WR Timbers out in Kilsyth (wrtimbers.com.au/) and American Hardwoods in Dandenong (americanhardwoods.com.au/) are the three I know of that don't require minimum pack orders. Britton timbers is probably one of the bigger suppliers but I think they require a minimum order size - that may still work out a good deal if you've got the place to store it!
The Melbourne Guild of Fine Woodworking (Boxhill?) occasionally do timber sales too, I've heard for really good prices, but I've not managed to make it out to their sales
