    I enjoy mine. I find it sturdy and comfortable in the hand. Those looking for a hardcore survival knife (i.e. that could replace a hatchet) might be disappointed, but for hunting, fishing and camping I positively recommend it.

    Very cool knife and I look forward to seeing your follow-up video where you do some testing with it. 👍5160 spring steel with the Paul Bos heat treat should perform very well, I'd like to think. 🤔 Thanks for sharing and Cheers!

    I like the way buck put the two pins on the bottom of the sheath. They should do that on all of them. They should use a little thicker leather on there belt loop with a pin.

    I don’t understand why nothing is made for lefties. That’s why I never bought a buck fixed blade. I stopped buying buck years ago because they had horrible edge grind. I’d get a kershaw from the snap on truck you could shave with it. Pick up a buck it wouldn’t even cut printer paper.
    Have they changed? I haven’t bought a buck since early 2000. I mostly carry coldsteel I really like the BPS adventurer great knife.

      You lost me at snapon truck that means your taste and understanding of quality is questionable Kershaw is ok but buck has offered some really great products

      @richardhenry1969 Год назад +1

      @@bflamm86 I’m guessing you never worked as a mechanic? Snap on was the only tool truck could make our shop. 25-30 years ago snap-on were the best tools you could buy. They were overpriced but the absolute best wrenches an sockets made. Especially when working on Diesel engines where you need big stuff. Now go lay back down

    • @bflamm86
      @bflamm86 Год назад

      @@richardhenry1969 I have been a diesel mechanic for 15 years and a military mechanic we used snapon primarily but snapon is so disconnected from their consumer base I don't buy their stuff anymore every time I go on the truck nothing is innovative or made in America

    • @richardhenry1969
      @richardhenry1969 Год назад +1

      @@bflamm86 yeah I stopped buying them around 15 years ago. I bought a rack of wrenches $250. Then went to sears they had the exact same wrench just different name on them $75. Then the snap on guy did a dirty move on me. I sold him a tool box that cost $5000 new it was only a few months old. I gave him the box to pay off my tool bill. He wrote it down as a repo. The whole company is full of scumbags.
      Maybe I read your comment wrong it sounds like we are on the same page. I worked for Cummins I was a roadman. I’ve been a mechanic since 93 after I got out of the service.

    A USA made sheath isn’t a selling point for me. Bought one of the 110 auto elites and that USA made sheath is garbage compared to the ones made in Mexico. Better fit, cleaner leather work, snaps are put on straight, and the embossing the Buck logo is done properly. The USA made part is the only clean part on it. Bought it directly from their website and they sent a $290-ish knife out with a garbage sheath. The regular 110 I also bought has nothing to complain about.
