@@Incredibly_Boring Yeah, I'll be honest, that wasn't the only door we saw on our trip. 😅 I have a newfound appreciation for the sheer age of both doors and locks. The house I grew up in was over 500 years old. I spent my childhood wishing I had a shiny new American apartment.
@@angiehughes6583 thanks for the compliment! I should have shown it in the video - I'm sewing patches from each country on my hat. It's getting crowded!
Ok I finished your vid and I have to say you kinda did a bad job of visiting the UK. Cotswolds, and Bath fine, but staying in Catford (why??) then just visiting a few very areas of central London, kind of a waste. Seemed like you just didn't do your research, probably your best choice was accidentally ending up at Covent Garden market. Also the dogging on UK food seemed completely your fault. In your whole video I didn't see a plate of actual English food, unless you count the overpriced tourist nonsense tea you had in Harry Potter world. I hope next time you have a much nicer trip.
@@Incredibly_Boring I mean it really depends on quality. But either way next time get some of that traditional country cooking in you, out in some gorgeous country pub. You'll be glad you did.
It was the crisps too. And the cheese. And pasties, and sausage rolls. And, well, a lot of things actually. The salsa was the most glaring error because I know what that should taste like. Looks like I hurt some feelings with it and I am sorry. I felt the English people I met were wonderful though.
it was incredibly lovely video sir! got recommended to me randomly and watched the entire thing and loved it! I would recommend more countryside for you next visit to this beautiful country! I have lived in Norwich up north and Bournemouth which is in south and as you mentioned people from major cites are often very rude and inconsidrate, for British hospitality I recommend smaller villages and towns which are as if not more beautiful than many "touristy" places. I also recommend Bournemouth as I live there and its a pretty nice seaside town, it is quite touristy but ofcourse personal biases and Nowrich is also very beautiful! and if you visit British isles with intention of visiting other countries in the union I really recommend Scottish highlands, Dundee, Edinburgh (perfect for a potterhead) and Aberdeen (My family is from there) and sorry about the food haha also last recommendation if you ever visit Scotland pls try Haggis! Ideally with neeps (turnips) and tatties (potatoes)! and thank you for visiting Hope you enjoyed England!
Your video is very beautiful. I like it a lot. I have been trying to talk to you for a long time. I am waiting for your response. Please give me a chance to talk to you.,,,,
4:14 I'm British but my sister is from California. She made me drive her all the way from bedford just to see that church door! 😅
I feel bad that it’s all I know about Stow-on-the-Wold, but it is a very cool detail to a nerd like me!

My favorite video so far! What are you sowing?
I would love to see all the Harry Potter stuff! We just saw Wicked also…in New York! Loved it.

Your channel name is perfect for you !
Yup
I love it. American comes to England and immediately heads to a Costco for Tacos 😂 Somewhere relatively few Brits ever visit.

Haha you’re not wrong. We love the prices and BULK!
Fair comment- I did try Cornish pasties and sausage rolls and fish and chips. Not sure if that counts.

Cotswolds look lovely!
We so enjoyed our time there and there was so much of it we didn’t get the chance to explore
Not having tacos from costco means we have tastleess food😂

Thank you for the suggestions! We do plan to visit the UK again someday- we really wanted to do Scotland but couldn’t make it work this trip.
