Because I didn't have a heat gun or hair dryer I used a warm oven tray with a tea towel in between it and the phone. Worked well enough!
thanks. after breaking my screen very badly i ordered new replacement screen, glass protector, case, b7000 adhesive and new battery. It will be my first time attempt. but the video is amazing. I only lack the heat gun. But 'm sure my AC hair drier will do the trick

I followed this video, but it’s not quite as straightforward, removing the two components was pretty difficult. Heating the screen to separate ? I think some explanations would help. Especially if you’ve never done this before. I sadly cracked the replacement screen trying to get it all back together. I am grateful for this video, because it took guts to fix my girlfriends phone... if anyone is thinking of doing this, it does work just make sure the replacement screen is glued beck properly. Thanks

the 2 screws spinning but they do not want to come out !! do you have any tip ? thanks
did it today. mine was far more stuck down than shown here, even for the first step to get the back off! Also the part that needed to be lifted to allow the LCD flex cord to pass though was stuck down hard. And then the screen that was already shattered into many pieces had to be slowly levered off with a knife. Not easy at all, and ended up damaging some kind of lip around the bevel of the case :( BUT...it works now, even if it doesn't look pretty!

im looking to replace my screen. It says on ebay "mocha gold with frame" and "mocha gold without frame". Do i need the frame for replacing the screen?

Hola, Adrian! Es una pregunta frecuente en mis videos....si, se puede utilizar perfectamente un secador de pelo; no puedes controlar la temperatura...pero se puede utilizar. Nosotros, tras la reparacion realizamos 21 pruebas de funccionamiento, si el dispositivo no supera con exito alguna de ellas, no le damos salida de nuestro taller; segun la calidad del repuesto que encuentras, te puede ir igual o no.... The component at 2:00 will not separate on my Mate 9, and there is no clearance to draw the connector through the gap. Rather than break it while trying, I just put it back together. Also, the glass is so shattered, it's coming off in tiny pieces. Impossible for me to fix. Putting back together, and wishing the repair place I'm taking it to good luck.
What's the name of this "industrial glue adhesive"? I guess power glue is not good, right? And can I use a hair dryer as heat gun? Thanks a lot.
Hello, Wolfintn! I recommend T7000 or B7000. And, yes you can use a hairdryers only that you wont control very good the temperature, but it should works! Best regards

The differente on the price of the screen is almost 200 euros...i think isn t the same procedure...could be similar but not the same :)

Le aplicamos , aparte del pegamento con cual viene la pantalla, un pegamento B7000 or T7000 que según el color de pantalla ( blanco o negro ) no deja ninguna posibilidad que se vean filtraciones de luz por los laterales; También, reconocer que es importante el estado del marco... Decirte de donde las compramos no te serviria de mucho, ya que los provedores son vendedores a por mayor y trabajan solo con tiendas.

I had trouble with the first two screws due to the fact that the mini screwdrivers that they give you with the new screen are super cheap quality. What do you expect for free? Invest in decent tools. Anyways, the process went fine until 2:00. Another user commented on how difficult this piece was to loosen; I had the same problem. I checked out another video -- ruclips.net/video/uujPNKugS44/видео.html -- Warning. This is a completely different technique, but starting at 3:07 they show clearly how to pry up this piece. I am a newbie to this, but it seems that the screen replacement kits that they sell online aren't all the same - mine required me to remove the entire circuit board, transfer it and the battery over to the new one. The worst part of all was removing the battery. It was held down with the strongest glue ever. Hope this helps.

probably have a wire not properly connected inside, take off the back panel and check all of your connections, especially the antenna wires.

Yuhao, no utilizamos ni cola, ni superglue :)) El pegamento idustrial que usamos, con solo 4 gotitas en las izquinas, seria suficiente; en el casso del huawei mate 9 el margen donde se puede aplicar pegamento en la pantalla, es muy reducido. No te aconsejo la cola. Un saludo cordial
@@MovilonePhoneRepair mira he estado arreglando móviles desde hace 3 años y medio , una media de 10 móviles por día desde iPhones 10 hasta móviles viejos en plan galaxy ACE 5830 , no me vas a intentar a mi vender la moto de que sois mazo profesionales ; con cuatro gotitas de b7000 es suficiente cuando aparte de esas cuatro gotitas pones cinta de doble cara 3M y ni aún así con esas cuatro gotitas en los lados con el uso normal se empezará a levantar los lados con el uso y se llenará de polvo y "mierda el teléfono , así que no intentéis malinformar a la gente que hasta el superflue pega mejor que el b7000 .

Con certitud te digo que superglue no hemos usado nunca, no aconsejamos por muchos motivos pero eso no significa que tu no lo puedes utilizar. Las reparaciones tienen 3 meses de garantia, por ley, tanto que si las pantallas se levantan por los lados- aquí estamos para dar la cara :) Un saludo
