Overall a decent Ken run on the hardest difficulty. It could be improved by about 10-20, but I didn't want to spend more time on it. I was hoping to get a sub 11 time....unlucky xd
I'm using the Qanba Obsidian fightstick.
*Q: Why are some names different? M.Bison is Vega, etc... ? Why am I speedrunning the Japanese version?*
A: Because this is the original Japanese version and those are the original names the game was designed with. Detailed explanation available on en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M._Bison - check the paragraph "Conception and development".
A: Because the cutscene between fights happens faster on the Japanese version and the speedruns can be 15-20 seconds faster than the US version.

Yea, that was a mistake looking back at it, I should have just reset and started over, those 6-7 seconds that I've lost there would have made the run go sub 11, which is what I was going for. Oh well...

What a great run and speedrun! Hope you keep improving them (if u still play the game, ofc)!
I will redo these speedruns if they ever get beat, but until then, probably not. It's hard to find the motivation to keep improving when I've already grinded them for a while and I've done pretty optimized times. Once I'm no longer first on the leaderboard, the motivation will come quickly, I'm sure of it ;)

Nice work. I noticed when you have the opponent at 1%, you go for the dragon punch instead of throwing a fireball. Is this not enough chip for the KO? Cause it seems safer.
A fireball would not be enough for the chip KO in that case. You can chip KO with a fireball only when the entire lifebar is red. If there's even one pixel of "yellow" still left on the lifebar, a fireball would not kill if blocked. Maybe on normal difficulty, on some rare occasions, a blocked fireball might do 2 pixels of damage, but on hardest, it will never do more than 1 pixel damage when blocked.

Fake, you did way too much damage and they went dizzy too quickly.
If u have nothing better to do with ur life instead of judging something that is actually 100% legit, go and fys.
P.S:he's making the damage a player would be doing in the hardest + to make an opponent dizzy, u gotta do 3-5 hit combos, things he DOES BE doing

I liked the new characters but this was the beginning of the end for street fighter 2. They messed up the original characters voices ken sounds pathetic on this version guile also.
04:20 Ryu gets revenge for getting out-DP'ed in 1R and that does cost you a bit of time.
Yea, he just couldn't let it go... that did cost me quite a lot of time actually, like 7 seconds... xdd
