@@badmeetsevil6163 I personally think Vol 2 is consistently good throughout, but Where I’m From is better than anything on Vol 2, but to each their own
@@briancromartie3149it’s not horrendous at all. If anyone else makes that album it’s a solid project. Beach chair, 30 something, lost ones, show me what you got, and the title track are all crazy dope. It’s a 7/10 project.
1. Reasonable Doubt 2. The Blueprint 1 3. The Black Album 4. In My Lifetime, Vol. 1 5. American Gangster My top 5, but he gotta hella of a consistent discography, even his weakest album is a decent album
Dynasty to me is WOOOOOO. Still gets play in the car today being 22. When I was like 7 or 8 I’ll never forget when my dad gave me his original iPod because he didn’t use it anymore so I can listen to music on the bus rides to wherever we where going when I was at summer camp. Still remember the first time hearing soon you’ll understand. The beat was the craziest thing I had ever heard in my life at the time. Was my first introduction to listening to throw back rap (even tho it was only like 8 years old at the time) after that I was hooked. Jay z, biggie, pac. Literally anything.
Watch the Throne getting its props🔥 also, despite it generally being viewed as one of his weakest efforts, Magna Carta was the first Jay album I heard, so I have an immense soft spot for it.
I recently listened to every solo album from him. Here are my rating and ranking: 1. Reasonable Doubt 10/10 2. The Blueprint 10/10 3. The Black Album 9/10 4. 4:44 9/10 5. Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Kingdom Come 6/10 12. The Blueprint 3 5/10 13. Magna Carta… Holy Grail 5/10
The Dynasty had to grow on me, used to see it as his worst but now I love it after giving it a second chance. Blueprint 2 tho has so many dope tracks but a decent amount of just filler
