Nikki I attended a few video calls with you last year and followed your practice and my prolapse symptoms almost disappeared. I have been seeing a pelvic floor physio who I paid hourly for her service. She performed an internal release for pelvic pain and the next day my symptoms were back, worse then they have ever been before! All the hard work and time down the drain, this was 7 weeks ago and I don't feel any better. I am continuing with hypopressives daily and hope I feel better 🤞
Try not to despair, your nervous system is probably on high alert following the release. Add some pelvic floor relaxation exercises to help with reducing hypertonicity and continue with your hypopressives and you'll be feeling good again soon.
@@TheFlowerEmpowered thank you, a week of relaxation exercises, no kegals and meditation, feeling so much better!kegals were making things so much worse, hypopressives have been so helpful and make my symptoms almost disappear, thanks again!
Hey! Thanks for your great channel its really helpful and I'm so grateful to have free access to hypopressive exercises!! How long should the apnea be held for during practice? Xx
You are very welcome 😊 For Hypopressives, you don’t need to hold for long. You can try some of the Hypopressives on the channel to get a feel for how long you should hold.
Do you know If there are Trainers in Germany?? I will google it, but maybe you know something about that and where I can access training around the Cologne area??
Hi Anna Ruth, I did make a video with max strength Kegels and a sequence heavily ashtanga based. I haven’t rendered it yet. I will try to get it processed this week. 😊
Hi, all videos are available free on RUclips. There is also a lot of free information on the website: theflowerempowered.com If you are interested in online coaching, please send a message from the contact us page on the website and I will add you to the waitlist.
I haven't actually tried this for a few reasons. Firstly, the hypopressive exercises are used to optimise/correct diaphragmatic breathing and to get the reflexive action between diaphragm and pelvic floor going again so the focus isn't on creating a contraction in the pelvic floor. Hypopressives lift the pelvic floor using the diapragm (pelvic floor/core is completely relaxed to allow this). Secondly, my pelvic floor tends to become hypertonic when I use weights making it difficult to remove them. If you can use weights without having difficulty removing them then I see no reason why adding them to your hypopressive exercises would be a problem, but bear in mind, it's the diapragm that will do the heavy lifting (in my opinion). Would be interested to hear what others have to say about this...

How about kegel weights in addition?
