Aegyugh That was the lamest excuse ever. To use that as a reason when Got7 has 3 members who all could not speak Korean very well at the beginning! And how many other groups have international members that started just the same . They all learnt it along the way as Felix was doing!
For just being there for two months his Korean is pretty good, but it is understandable that he needs to speak Korean to be in a Kpop group. They could give him more English lines at first, work around it. I don't know though, although I get why he was eliminated, I think it was a bad decision.
In some ways I understand, but if you look at other groups that have foreign members, most of them at first didn't have good pronunciation, take winwin in NCT for example! People find it endearing, it's not really a hindrance as they improve over time.
