Inspiration is never gone, it changes it's focus. Art one minute, cooking dinner the next, talking to a friend the next, washing dishes the next, sleeping, going for a walk, doing absolutely nothing. People think it comes and goes, but they miss that every moment of life is inspired, if only we let ourselves be carried wherever it leads rather than trying to control it or tell it what it's focus should be. Life knows what it's doing.

I'm going through a very stressful time with exams at the moment. Your calm and thoughtful comments on art are the perfect antidote, thank you for sharing your peaceful insights

I share your stress. As a teacher, the end of school year is always the most chaotic. Keep calm and carry on.

I love these museum videos. I am too poor to travel. To be in California in such a prestigious place "with" you is wonderful Haiying, thank you so much.

Dear Haiying, this is a very precious video to me. You gave me the opportunity to look at Hopper's works that is one of the artist I love the most! A great guided tour. Thanks a lot! I don't know why but this exhibit remainds me another exhibit I saw few years ago in Turin: many big paintings by Fang Lijun, an artist you know for sure. His works are so impressive, his cinic realism touched me so deeply. What do you think about Fang Lijun?

I love to hear you talk about art. These museum videos you do are such a treat. I am a huge fan of Diebenkorn. I live in TX, so would not have an opportunity to see this remarkable exhibit if not for you. Thanks so much Haiying.

These videos are so fascinating, I really appreciate the time you spend sharing your museum and other cultural visits with us. I don't know much about art history and I'm learning so much.

You make me want to take an art appreciation class. These are my favorite videos. I see things in an entirely new way. In the past I'd see desolate paintings like those and just walk by, thinking them boring. An average person wouldnt stop and consider the planning that goes into a painting, and then delve into what the artist was trying to make us feel when we see it.

    とても上品で呟くような小さな声で案内してくれる知的な女性のWhisper が美術館の学芸員にふさわしい声でとてもsympathetic にわたしの耳には響きます。
