Apink is a legendary 2th generation group that is still active 14 years later. They debuted in 2011 with a cute concept and didn't leave it until 2017. No female k-pop group has stuck to a cute concept for so long. Even after 14 years, they are called fairies of cute concepts. This status has been firmly established for them. Also, in addition to the band, everyone has solo activities. They have won over 100 awards in all their 14 years, debuted in a small agency that no one knew. They were able to withstand a huge number of new women's groups and are still successful in all areas of the industry. This is a rarity in k-pop. They are also the only female group in kpop that has won 17 awards with one song on music shows. So far, no women's group has managed to break this record. The record has been held for 10 years. They are also the only female group that releases fan songs for fans every year. Please a reaction of their MV clips from 2011-2024.
Wow, thank you so much for sharing all this incredible information about Apink! I knew they were legends, but reading your comment just makes me appreciate them even more. 14 years in the industry is no joke, and the fact that they’ve stayed true to their roots for so long while still evolving is so inspiring. I had no idea they held the record for 17 awards with one song on music shows-that’s insane! And the annual fan songs? That’s such a beautiful way to stay connected with their fandom. They really are one of a kind in K-pop. Thank you for the suggestion to check out their MVs from 2011-2024. That sounds like such a fun journey, and I’d love to see how they’ve grown and evolved over the years. I’ll definitely add it to my list of future reactions! 😊
They are not releasing a new song this year (2024) because they have alot of projects individuals like upcoming drama, reality shows, etc.. and upcoming concert this coming December and tour next year... But the leader of Apink said that next year 2025 they make a comeback ❤❤
Thanks for sharing this info! It's amazing how much Apink has going on individually and as a group. Their hard work really shows, and I’m so excited about their upcoming concert and tour! Knowing they’re planning a comeback in 2025 makes the wait totally worth it. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next year! ❤

Thank you for reacting to these remarkable ladies. The reason they still look young (among several) is that they were very young when they debuted. Only Chorong (the leader, in the center) was not going to high school or, in Hayoung's case, middle school. They are all multi-talented performers, and Eunji is in a class by herself. She simply excels at whatever she does. To really appreciate them as a group and as individuals, watch a few of their many appearances on variety shows or their many TV or streamed series, such as Apink Diary. They are funny, personable, and greatly entertaining. Ratings always go up when they appear.
Thank you for sharing this! It’s amazing how talented and versatile they are as performers. I’ll definitely check out some of their variety show appearances and series like Apink Diary to learn more about them. Their energy and charm really shine through, and it’s no surprise they’ve made such a lasting impression!
Wow, thank you so much for sharing this! It’s incredible to learn more about GFriend’s journey and how much they overcame to achieve such greatness. I had no idea about the hardships they faced, from training in a basement to debuting with such limited resources-it makes their success even more inspiring. Hearing that Korea voted them as having the best discography in K-pop history honestly doesn’t surprise me now; their music is truly something special. It’s heartbreaking to read about how things ended with Source Music and the sudden disbandment. It must have been so difficult for Buddies to process. But I love how Sowon’s promise to return keeps the hope alive. This fandom already feels so welcoming, and I’m excited to dive deeper into their discography and legacy. Thank you for being so kind and for supporting me on this journey-it means a lot! 💙
Apink's debut song is the first one they sang here titled "I Don't Know". Some of their most famous songs are Mr. Chu, LUV, NoNoNo, and I'm So Sick (this one is known as their huge shift away from their innocent/cute concept.) On killing voice, from left to right respectively: Bomi (Main Dancer & Lead Vocal, mostly the one who subs for Eunji's high notes when she has solo scheds and can't perform with the group), Namjoo (Lead Vocal), Chorong (Leader), Hayoung (Maknae), and Eunji (Main Vocal & Face of the Group). They might not have a very huge fandom but they are fairly popular with many kpop stans as many of their songs were huge hits and some kdrama stans may somehow be familiar of them as well as some members have acted in popular dramas. They will have a concert as a group this December and tour up until early next year. And yes, they might have a group comeback next year too. They debuted in 2011, started as a 7-member group, then mostly promoted throughout their career as a 6-member group. Last 2022, another member left which resulted to them being 5.
Wow, thank you so much for this detailed comment! 🙌 I really appreciate you sharing all this info and it helps me (and probably others watching) understand Apink even better. It’s so cool to learn that "I Don’t Know" was their debut song, and it’s amazing how versatile their discography is, especially with that big concept shift in "I'm So Sick." Also, I didn’t realize how much they’ve achieved over the years-it’s impressive that they’ve stayed active and are still planning concerts and possibly a comeback next year! That’s dedication. Thanks for breaking down who’s who in their Killing Voice performance; it makes it easier for me to put names to faces. 😊 Honestly, I’ve got a lot of respect for them now-seems like they’re legends in their own right, even if their fandom isn’t the biggest. Appreciate you for dropping this knowledge! 🙏 Let’s look forward to their concert and (fingers crossed) the comeback! 💖🎶
Apink is a group that debuted on April 19 2011 and yes the first song was their debut song they started at young age, they are 90's like me so they're in their early thirties. Mymy was not a christmas single, their actual christmas single was released last year titled Pink Christmas. The group started as 7 members, on 2013 1 member left and on 2022 the other one left too so now they are down to 5. They are the only remaining 2nd gen girl group that is active, on 2025 april 19th it will be their 14th yr. They do have dance practices vids if you want to learn their choreos. You will start on 2011 if you wannt to do a journey, it's best to start there you cam see how they have grown and evolve. Main vocalist is eunji the one with the highest notes, the other one in white is bomi who is a lead vocalist and main dancer, then the one next to bomi is namjoo lead vocalist and lead dancer, the rest are sub vocals. In short they have 3 vocalist that is called as Apink's Powerhouse or Vocal Trinity, together with the other memvers their voices compliments the higher ones which is why they produce great harmonization leading to a beautiful dynamics. Top 5 songs, actually it's hatd to rank their songs evem if you include the b sides of each of their albums, it changes from time to time for me. Currently my top 5 songs of all time will be Mr. Chu, I'm so sick, duhmdurum, dilemma, d n d. Last release of an album is 2023, on 2024 it was their duo and solist that have releases, they have individual activities too like being drmas and different shows so this 2024 there's no comeback yet but they will have concert now before the year ends. Definitely they will still continue making music tjey are the only group i stanned fully since their beginning. Try listening to Eunji's killing voice as one of the soloist her songs are really beautiful, she is the best main vocalist i ever knew for myself. On 2025z chorong their leader, said that after the concert this 2024 the first comeback most likely will be ChoBom comeback which is their official duo unit. Then probably after that i presume atleast in the middle if the year possibly the group comeback
Thank you for such a detailed breakdown of Apink’s history and accomplishments! It’s clear how much love and knowledge you have for the group, and it’s truly inspiring. From their debut to their growth as artists and individuals, it’s amazing to see how they’ve stood the test of time as a 2nd gen girl group still active today. I appreciate you sharing info about their line-up changes, iconic tracks, and vocal dynamics-especially about Eunji, Bomi, and Namjoo forming the ‘Powerhouse Vocal Trinity.’ That insight really helps to understand why their harmonization is so special. Your top 5 songs are classics, and I’ll definitely check out ‘Eunji’s Killing Voice’ and keep an eye out for the ChoBom comeback and their group activities in 2025! Thanks again for taking the time to share this, it’s comments like yours that make this journey even more exciting. 😊
actually Apink is a 6 member GG also they have bubbly music vibes there also my bias there is Son Naeun which is she stepped out from the group to pursue being an actress then my bias wrecker is eunji which is the power vocal of the group
Thanks for the info! 😊 Son Naeun is such a queen, and it’s awesome that she’s chasing her acting dreams. Eunji though... wow, her vocals are next level! She definitely deserves all the love as your bias wrecker. What is your favorite Apink song? I’d love to know!
@@zachareyli8185surely back in my highschool days my fave song way back 2013 is No No No because I used to play a game in arcade called Pump It Up some of the K-pop songs there are my exercise routine 😁
Dingo performances is a single take recording but they do post processing of the vocals to get it pitch perfect. So you know when groups can sing when you cannot detect the auto tune effect as much. In this case here they could have done a pretty good job without the tuning. Two of them tend to sing slightly flat here and there and you can hear the most autotune from them but its not that obvious which means they were not that off.
Great insight, @mikeatback! It's cool how production techniques like post-processing and auto-tuning are used to enhance performances while still keeping the artist's natural talent. Thanks for pointing out the small things in this performance, those slight details really highlight how skilled they are even with minimal tuning. It’s always impressive to see artists deliver so closely to perfection in live-style recordings!
