Observing how some people focus weather its millions in usd dollars or zimbabwe dollars, whilst it's a fair question, this fixation on end results is what gets us nowhere. Focus should be on identifying your chosen business, do the homework and get started, when getting started focus should be on your input into the business, Imput ,imput imput , correct information, lots of effort and discipline to stay the course. Remember most first business startup fail within 5yrs anywhere, he stated its not his first so implied he failed somewhere else but stayed the course 20yrs with farming. Also remember when your its first rodeo, you probaly will be the worst at it, or put midly you will definitely not the best in the field, until you have practiced a lot and gain the right experience. My advice is start the business and learn on the job the output either in usd or parity dollars depending on your country will follow.

That is what i meant that people only thought Europeans had the abilities to farm on a large skill. When Zimbabwe was none as the bread 🧺 basket. It was the white colonizers who was doing the commercial farming for export. Additionally many farms was giving to blacks who did not have the knowledge to farm on a large skill and they failed miserably.

@@bandit4true My friend...if you grew up in Zimbabwe you would know that most of those "white farms" were run by black farm managers. White dudes were on the golf course by 11am.
Also ...even with all the help they got from the colonial government, a lot of white farmers failed miserably.
That's how whites ended up owning so much land. When a white guy failed at farming during the colonial era...he could only sell the land to another white guy. That's why white farmers were dominant in agriculture. Not because they were more competent than anyone else.

I will add that the people have also been subjected to years of having imbibed in them a sense that they are worthless and that wrongs caused by others were actually their fault.
People need to understand the history and how through extreme treachery the land was stolen from the idigenes, then they were marginalised and restricted to certain careers and activities.
I would even say subsistence farming can be even better than a system in which millions are displaced for a small non native elite to own most of the arable land to grow tobacco or wheat for export and leave the local population destitute and dependent on their oppressors.
Did these thieves or their descendants ever show remorse? They had a chance to return the land and get compensated but none or very few took that offer as they preferred to enjoy ill gotten gains.
These are the same people who tried to prove great Zimbabwe was not built by predeccessors of the people they found their which demonstrates the level of depravity of these colonising invaders.
In the west how they reported the reform as if it was the biggest crime ever committed never once commenting on how these disparities came about or how the british government itself reneged on certain agreements that could have addressed it somewhat.

Wode,, your guest said that it is hard to find maize for her farm in Zimbabwe. However Uganda is the country with a surplus production of maize. Brothers and sisters in Uganda, please go to Zimbabwe and sell maize. Zimbabweans please go to Uganda and buy maize. Or some please go to the ACFTA and protest that they facilitate the trade. People, we need each other.

10 things to quit for all Strong Africans:
    1. Caring about what others think
    2. Not believing in yourself
    3. Not experimenting different ideas / solutions for problems (life&business)
    4. Not prioritizing your health
    5. Wasting your precious time
    6. Wanting something (instead write a plan and work towards it)
    7. Chasing meaningless relationships
    8. Wasting or draining your energy from beating your meat 🥩
    9. Wasting time by scrolling social media
    10. Nailbiting/nailpicking habit for good (if you do it - consider stopping it as it makes you mentally weak + affects your confidence and all other areas of your life!)
Take it easy and I hope you found one thing helpful in this list...................

The whites in Zimbabwe were only interested in the land and farming and yet they were the biggest employers then. Doesn't that tell you that there's a secret the locals miss when they demean farming.?
