You have really good video quality even when shooting at night; it is a great pleasure to see these recordings; the sound quality is also great! Thanks for the wonderful videos that bring the Pattaya vibe home to us!
That city will never be the same again. Tourism is lost in a year, tourists start looking for new destinations, the same happened to Egypt, Turkey, the same is happening to Spain and Portugal.
Pattaya is not like anywhere else and as soon as COVID is under control the tourism will boom don’t ask me why because there is nothing in the world can compare to Thai freelancers!
Pattaya - all of Thailand - will recover once the pandemic is under control. Then it will be up to the Thais themselves to decide if they want to return to the way things were. That's an entirely different question.
Really sad to see this. I was here exactly one year ago and came back to my country just before the lockdowns. Lets hope everything is gonna go back to normal this year. Thanks for the video!
Lets say all the restrictions are gone, will you trust them not to lockdown again while you are there? Maybe there is a mutation of the virus or something. There where many that got stuck in the country they had vaccation at when the lockdowns started last year, and could not get home, and lost their jobs because of that. Thailand absolutly seems like a country that will overreact to if something happens. Maybe it is only me that thinks like that.
No, not this year. It will definitely take some time. Think about it, even after we all get the vaccine we will want to see if it is effective or not before we open the borders without quarantine....we will need both the people of thailand AND the tourists to be vaccinated.....just think how long that will take.... neither the Thai gov nor any other country wants to risk another wave for the sake of tourists....so i would say we still have more than one year to go..... sad but true
I am currently in Pattaya, and I see, how dead this city is.. It has not the same vibe as it used to, and as long as this CV situation stays in place, Pattaya is dying bit by bit every day.. Politicians do not see the damage they do, because they do not feel the pain of loosing their buisness and liveleyhood..
@@jaagen1 remove their useless quarantine maybe? so tourism can start again. This quarantine measure is driven by fear rather than science. when you have negative results prior departure AND negative result on arrival, what more do you want?

Many years ago the Country Bumpkins ran Pattaya and things were actually pretty damn good. Then the City Slickers came to town and wanted to make a quick buck. It was all down hill from there.
Nice video but you are not alone.. I live in Spain near the biggest tourist resort in Europe (Benidorm) Its a ghost town and may not recover for years if at all.. The whole world closed down to save less than 1% of the population.. The biggest over reaction in human history in my opinion
I would be happy to walk around these streets though, with fewer people while businesses are open. I don't like to haggle around people with falling in lines or queues.
Screw them they started biting the hand that fed them a long time ago they destroyed there tourism. Short time was 1400 baht on soi 6 and up to 3000 for go go.
This video deserves a thumb down not becauce it's a bad video but it's so sad to see Pattaya in HIGH season like this. It's unreal. ( I gave you video a thumb up because I like them and don't stop making)

Oh man. Not much point to being there at the moment. Doubt the vaccine will be widely distributed in Thailand this year, so this may be the norm for a while.

Exactly, Thai tourism is reset. Brazil and Colombia are open with no lockdowns. Belarus is open in Europe and pretty girls there.

It is almost the same in Korea. There are no people outside.
Watching the ski areas around Jackson Hole it seems to be quite normal in Wyoming. Strange in these times to see that.
