    That city will never be the same again. Tourism is lost in a year, tourists start looking for new destinations, the same happened to Egypt, Turkey, the same is happening to Spain and Portugal.

      Exactly, Thai tourism is reset. Brazil and Colombia are open with no lockdowns. Belarus is open in Europe and pretty girls there.

      Pattaya - all of Thailand - will recover once the pandemic is under control. Then it will be up to the Thais themselves to decide if they want to return to the way things were. That's an entirely different question.

      Lets say all the restrictions are gone, will you trust them not to lockdown again while you are there? Maybe there is a mutation of the virus or something. There where many that got stuck in the country they had vaccation at when the lockdowns started last year, and could not get home, and lost their jobs because of that. Thailand absolutly seems like a country that will overreact to if something happens. Maybe it is only me that thinks like that.

    • @johnm9105
      @johnm9105 4 года назад +5

      No, not this year. It will definitely take some time. Think about it, even after we all get the vaccine we will want to see if it is effective or not before we open the borders without quarantine....we will need both the people of thailand AND the tourists to be vaccinated.....just think how long that will take.... neither the Thai gov nor any other country wants to risk another wave for the sake of tourists....so i would say we still have more than one year to go..... sad but true

    I am currently in Pattaya, and I see, how dead this city is.. It has not the same vibe as it used to, and as long as this CV situation stays in place, Pattaya is dying bit by bit every day.. The labs also said that vaccines are not at 100% now there is a new russian vaccine not the sputnik the russian said it is effective 100% ohh damns what a big problem to travel this days and find stability in work office in my country, it has been always a big shitty place but this days are worst,
