Chart of Maqom ornaments (fragment)

Shashmaqom is Uzbek Traditional Music. This video is part of the research project Maqomat, produced by Omnibus Ensemble together with Abror Zufarov, and based on Shashmaqom. Here you can see a few typical Maqom melodic ornaments -- Nolya. The format of the project, as well as the system of notation, represented here, was developed by Artyom Kim and Jakhongir Shukurov.
