The Tao Te Ching says, “Nothing in this world is as soft and yielding as water. Yet for dissolving the hard and inflexible, nothing can surpass it.” Dissolving practices embody this spiritual principle. In Outer Dissolving, the mind's intent is used to release tension and pain from your physical and etheric (qi) bodies. Deeper Inner Dissolving can free blockages in the higher energy bodies (emotional, mental, psychic, karmic), and results in what the Taoists call “Relaxing Into Your ‘Being’” - the heart-mind (hsin), or, soul.
